Nestled towards the end of a “no thru traffic” street, this adorable studio cottage is on a rural 3-acre property, located down a bumpy dirt driveway back in a wooded setting. We are the perfect retreat for those seeking rest, relaxation and peace. The cottage is out in a quiet, rural area; yet just steps from our home in case you need anything. Amenities: • a full kitchen (no microwave or dishwasher) • queen-sized memory foam mattress • 2 memory foam pillows • futon for 1 extra guest • full bathroom with tub and shower • stackable washer/dryer • a 43” television with an Apple TV & Roku (see more info below) We are: 12 minutes from downtown Havana. 20 minutes from TLH Farmer’s Market. 25 minutes from I-10. 30 minutes from Thomasville, GA. 33 minutes from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. 35-40 minutes from FSU and FAMU. 35 minutes from Tallahassee Airport. We are dog friendly! 2 max. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside the cottage. No pit bulls/pit mixes. There is an Apple TV and Roku available to log into with your passwords. Please note that the cottage is studio-style. There is no wall separation between bed, living area, and kitchen. Guests have access to the entire studio. We have about one acre at the back of the property that has been cleared if you would like to walk around. We live next door to the guesthouse and are home most of the time to help out with anything you may need. Your privacy is important to us, so we will greet you upon arrival but allow you to control how much interaction occurs during your stay. Please feel free to contact us at any point. We live towards the end of a “no-thru” street, so should you want to go for a short walk or jog, you won’t have much traffic (if any) to contend with on our immediate road. Please use caution if you walk/jog on River Road or Fairbanks Ferry Road - we frequently witness drivers speeding on these roads. Plenty of parking on our property. Feel free to bring and park your boat! We are the new owners of this property. We are working hard to update and refresh both homes, but the houses need exterior cosmetic updates. We know most guests will not care, but wanted to disclose this ahead of time. The property will look different every time you stay here! The cottage is very close to our home. As noted, we take your privacy seriously and allow you to control how much interaction occurs. We want you to be comfortable! We recommend bringing sturdy shoes to wear and bug spray if you plan to spend time outside. We are located in a wooded setting and the ground is uneven with lots of tree roots. Some days you don’t need bug spray, and others you do.
