Enjoying beautiful views of both Lake Windermere and open countryside. The Retreat is an ideal base to explore the Lake District or relax in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Feature floor-to-ceiling picture window with views of Brant Fell, exposed beams, smart television, blue tooth music system and free Wifi. Open plan kitchen diner with hand-painted bespoke units and stone work-surfaces. Built-in German appliances including, washer dryer, fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob. Feature roof lights enhance the airy and light living area. Contemporary glass and stainless steel staircase leading to the downstairs bathroom and two bedrooms. Well-appointed bathroom, with contemporary sink unit with local slate work surface, feature Kirkstone slate wall, extra wide bath with thermostatic shower over, heated tall towel rail and radiator. Main bedroom with king-size bed, high-quality linens and soft furnishings, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, lamps, dressing table and chair. Twin room with high-quality linens and soft furnishings, wardrobe and bedside cabinet with lamp. Private off-street parking for one car is accessed via a single-track drive (no turning point). Access is suitable for a large car or for two medium cars one behind the other. There is a separate large unloading area. Due to the decor and layout, The Retreat operates a strict no smoking and no pets policy. We also do not allow young groups. Minimum stay 3 nights.
