The Birdhouse

This sunny, fully furnished garden-level apartment in a quiet neighborhood is close to everything. You're an easy walk to the University of Wyoming campus, stadium, Arena Auditorium, and the dorms. Fast and sit down restaurants, movies, and our town's prettiest park (1 block) are close by. Laramie is proud of its western roots and the art, music and cultural events it hosts. Our little town makes the perfect home base for exploring the Rocky Mountain Region's rich recreational activities. The space You'll be staying in a separate 2-bedroom, 1 bath garden-level apartment that is located in the lower level of your host's home. There are *stairs* to reach your front door, where you'll enter a comfortable living/dining room, well-stocked kitchen, and inviting bedrooms, each with plenty of clean linens, closets, interesting décor and good lighting. You will share front and back yards with your host, and, nature willing, enjoy limited garden bounty (tomatoes, strawberries and raspberries) depending on the season you visit. Guest access You will have access to on-street parking, and share a small back yard deck with a patio table, chairs, an umbrella (wind permitting) and front yard seating with your host. There is a rustic fire pit and temperamental BBQ on the premises and you are free to enjoy the flower gardens, and bird-friendly habitat that surrounds the property. There are some toddler-aged toys and equipment/supplies in the yard if desired. I hope you explore the yard and garden when the weather favors it. Other things to note Although this is addressed elsewhere, it bears repeating: I live in the house (above the apartment) thus it’s possible you may HEAR me walking around, dropping things, occasional music, but I try not to dance or jump rope or anything like that. Guests find it quiet, so that is reassuring.
