Personally, we are a family who has had to utilize other accommodations while traveling for our daughter’s club volleyball team across the nation. We have experience in what is important and how to treat our guests. But– whether you are in the area for a wedding, a family reunion, a kids’ sporting event, graduation, leisure, work or just passing through~ we would love to have you! We have a 2500+ square foot ranch home with full basement that is spacious, comfortable & clean, within close proximity to everything Hastings has to offer. The main floor is timeless and remodeled with all new flooring. Our open living room with over sized sectional and nearby sitting area are beautiful and lined with wood beam ceilings. It transitions off of the full kitchen, dinette area & dining area to seat 8-10. Finally, we have 3 private bedrooms--each with queen beds and a full bathroom. There are 3 Amazon Fire TVs on the main floor. We had fun decorating the basement and date stamped it with mid-century modern decor and comfortable furniture in the large open basement. It also has 2 private bedrooms-- each with full size bed, and a full bath with another separate vanity area outside of the bathroom, as well as a desk. Single rollaway bed available for use in basement upon reservation request. There are 3 Amazon Fire TVs in the basement as well as closet space in each bedroom. Additional items provided: Free wifi with 5 Amazon Fire TV’s Smoke alarms and Carbon monoxide detector Fire extinguisher under kitchen sink Security light/camera outside Heating/AC Large driveway; Private entrance. Iron, washer, dryer- no detergent supplied. 2 items available UPON REQUEST at time of reservation: A single rollaway bed and a small floor mattress that could be used for a small child. SINGLE ROLLAWAY BED MUST BE REQUESTED UPON RESERVATION!!!! To the entire home I'm always available if there is a question or issue that needs resolved. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: Located on E. 7th St, only 8 blocks away from the main street– Burlington St.-- where you will find the local Russ’s Market grocery store & Walgreens. Just 4 blocks away from Hastings College, or walking distance to the peaceful Heartwell Park. Heartwell Park is the perfect place to stroll the sidewalks along the water, fish or relax & feed the ducks, have a picnic or spend time at the playground or free toddler pool area. We are just 4 blocks away from Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital if necessary. A quick 2 minute drive from downtown shopping, movie theater, dining and nightlife/socializing establishments. As a sports parent, it’s important to note we are only 5-8 minutes from the Smith softball complex & Walmart as well as Pasttime lanes bowling, Hastings Museum/Theatre and the Aquacourt Pool. The Aquacourt Pool: is a public water park that has something for ALL ages. I do recommend calling ahead to make sure the lifeguard staffing is sufficient to have it open as listed online. We have a large, private, concrete driveway to park. The detached garage is not to be used. Thank You! Please contact us a day before your arrival, we may be able to accommodate different times, if requested/available. We appreciate your help in keeping our cleaning rates lower than some. In order to do that please do the following before checking out: Please strip used sheets off and leave them on the bed. We have found that people find clothes or other personal items they may otherwise have left behind. We will launder the bedding, thank you. If you are showering and leaving soon after to check out, please make sure to hang your towels to dry in the bathroom. Please place other used/dirty/dry towels and/or linens in the laundry bag provided in the laundry room when leaving. We ask that you take out any full kitchen trash bags and place them in the outside trash can on the west side of the garage prior to leaving. Do not run the dishwasher if you are leaving, we will gladly do that. Please double check to make sure you are not leaving any belongings behind.
