Mountain’s Edge Glamping Tent Camping

You'll love this unique & romantic escape in a luxurious canvas bell tent, in a natural wildlife environment on Shade Mountain. You'll have a peaceful escape with surrounding nature aesthetics. Enjoy calming sounds of the forest. At dusk, listen for whippoorwills, and the brilliant Scarlet Tanager singing “chic-burr”. Wakeup while drinking coffee on the deck to nature sounds & birds singing . Relax by the fire or cozy up in your bohemian dream. The space Mountains Edge glamping is a perfect place to disconnect from the world and enjoy nature's beauty! You will have the entire space to yourselves. Mountain's Edge Glamping is located off grid and you will travel on a dirt road going into the mountain with an incline. Being a luxury bell tent, we do our best to keep insects and debris out, however, it is a canvas tent and off grid in the great outdoors. Currently there is no electricity. We do have water for general use of dishes etc. We provide a jug of drinking water, a portable power station and solar panel for charging devices and some minimal electric use, a fan, hammock, gas tailgating grill, charcoal grill, chairs around the fire pit and on the deck, a bundle of firewood, an out house near the tent for you to use with a small handwashing station, a light in the tent, and a couple of solar lantern/flashlights. Prepare to bring camping essentials to cook with while camping. The Glamping tent has one Queen air mattress, however 1 or 2 more people could fit to sleep. More then two people, they would need to bring sleeping bags or cot, plus linens to accommodate. Who this experience is for: Our glamping tent is great if want to try a new experience, or just enjoy camping, but with a more luxury feel! This experience is not for you if you are on the fence with camping or can not tolerate an occasional bug or piece of dirt that could track in the tent or be in the outdoors . If you are a down to earth, adventurous, outdoorsy person, this adventure is for you! *CLEANLINESS: We thoroughly clean and provide fresh linens to make Mountains edge ready for our guests prior to check-in to try to assure that it is as clean as possible, however it is a tent and after we clean, there is a chance some insects/debris could inevitably find a way through between guests. Please keep this outdoor experience in mind when leaving a review. We follow guidelines provided by the CDC and disinfectant on all surfaces. We encourage family’s to have a great outdoor experience. If you prefer to set up another tent, it can be an option after talking to us. An additional fee will be incur. Other things to note We have sheets on the bed and several light blankets and decorative pillows. We ask you to bring your own sleeping pillows, extra blankets or sleeping bags for your comfort at night. ** IN THIS MOUNTAINOUS SETTING, Insects , mammals and amphibians make up our natural ecosystem and come with the territory in the outdoor setting. When outdoors in the mountain, you will encounter residue, cobwebs, etc. from nature on deck, picnic table or in storage container. It is a Glamping-camping experience. We do everything possible to keep areas clean inside/outside and also all things possible to keep insects and debris out of the glamping tent, by thoroughly cleaning the space between guests, however some inevitably still can wander in from the environment.
