Family home in Champagne

Our 1978 family home can accommodate 20 people, in the middle of a 1 hectare garden. In summer you can enjoy tennis (despite some false bounces) and the secure swimming pool (heated from mid-May to the end of September), the large terrace on which you can eat your meals, play ping-pong and prepare a BBQ. When the weather is less beautiful, the interior offers beautiful living spaces: a living room with a large fireplace, an entrance furnished with a French billiard table, etc... The space On the ground floor, you will have a dining kitchen equipped with 4 burners (3 gas and 1 electric), a microwave, an oven, a large refrigerator and a separate freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. There is enough dishes for 15 people. A small living room adjoining the large living room offers a space of nearly 70 m², the dining room can accommodate 15 people. There are also bathrooms (toilet and bathroom) and an office room equipped with a large comfortable sofa bed. This allows a fully single-level set up for elderly people for example. Sleeping is divided between double bedrooms and dormitories: 7 double bedrooms and 3 dormitories (2 with 4 beds and 1 with 6 beds). You will have 3 bathrooms and a shower, 2 toilets. We are aware that renovation work is necessary, and we are working on it as much as possible and regularly. Indeed, some wallpaper is in poor condition but the house is healthy and clean. Other things to note 2.5 hours from Paris by the national 4 or by the eastern highway and 1 hour 40 minutes by TGV (station 7 km away), this house is where we lived as a family and that our parents left us. 4 generations have shared wonderful moments there. We continue to bring it to life during our stays and you will understand, we care a lot about it. That's why we rent it so we can keep it. Besides, it's not completely impersonal! Within a 70 km radius, you can discover Epernay, Reims, its cathedral and its champagne cellars: "it feels like walking in a painting," said a tourist visiting the region and the Ruinart pavilion. The Champagne hills region is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and many sites such as Maison Thiénot invite you to an immersive journey. In short, for wine tourism enthusiasts, you will be well located and you can discover the great estates and their exceptional products as well as lesser-known producers who will let you taste very good things! There is also Troyes, its historic center, its very good chocolatier, and its clothing factory stores, Colombey les 2 églises (a little further away), Chaumont en Haute Marne, its castle and gardens, Lake Der, 20 km away, etc... In the village, we recommend visiting Antoine Chevalier's farm, which produces exceptional champagne and takes you through its vineyards aboard a VW Combi. He is a passionate person who will fascinate you! Some practical information: Remote work possible because of good connection. Many board games and puzzles, piano, trampoline, sandbox (without accessories). For the little ones: 1 high chair, 1 changing table on the ground floor and in one of the bedrooms, 1 baby bathtub, 1 chamber pot. Linens are provided except pool towels. Many supermarkets 5 km away (Leclerc, Intermarché, Lidl), market under the halls of Vitry le François on Thursday morning.
