Sunrise Valley Farmhouse
You'll love the view! The cottage on the property was the original home of one of the first Norwegian immigrant families to the East Jordan area just prior to the turn of the twentieth century. Eventually they built the farmhouse and the cottage became the milkhouse, where the milk from the dairy cows was stored until it was delivered to local customers. The barn was torn down and a pole building put in its place, but the silo still stands. Primary renter should be 23 or older. 3 additional cot like beds are provided upon request. It is recommended these be used for children 12 and under (or smaller teens or adults). These beds can be placed in the bedrooms or the sitting room/office area off the kitchen. Guests will have access to the main and upper floors of the house. Pole barn and cottage are closed to guest use. Keyless entry once inside the enclosed porch. We are conveniently available by text or call before 10:00 pm. No immediate neighbors. Surrounded by Amish farmland. On occasion you may hear the sounds of horse and buggy traveling down the road. The house sits off the road about 75-100 yards, Highway 66. Plentiful parking.
