Step away from city life into a quiet and private conifer landscape. 10 minutes west of Evergreen, this home is a perfect place to kickback and recharge; it mingles eclectic art, the comforts of home and the face of nature where wildlife abounds. The main floor is open and spacious and flows out to an expansive deck providing captivating views. Large southwest windows bring in the warmth and natural light of our Colorado sun. This home is equipped to host families or intimate group gatherings. The space Location Home is comfortably situated on 2.3 acres in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Close enough to Evergreen to enjoy the coffeeshops and art galleries; secluded enough to experience the best of Colorado. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. We have very few instances if any, of theft or crime. Enjoy the property or stroll around the block. Neighborhood Access and Parking Our neighborhood roads are county maintained but the road into the subdivision is a bit steep, so you might want to consider 4-wheel drive in the winter months. These roads are a combination of composite and paved. The u-shaped drive offers parking fro a max of 4 cars. Driveway plowing will be provided with 6” of fall or more. You will not have access to the garage. Guest Access Key pad Entry for self check-ins. Animals -Fun to observe but NEVER approach. Elk and deer are commonly seen on the lot. We have a variety of birds that frequent the feeder. You’ll find a bird book in the kitchen. Early morning is best for fox sightings seen from the kitchen or the deck. On summer nights you may hear coyotes or the screams of a hunting fox. Living Space Settle in to the comforts of home. Chill on the couch or the deck. There are books, puzzles, playing cards, games and toys. There is a smart TV in the main living space where you are welcome to log in and use your favorite streaming sites. Enjoy the unique interior and eclectic works of art throughout the house. Accommodations for Little Ones We provide a high chair, playpen and step stool, baby gate, dishes, cups and silverware. There are toys and story books. Kitchen Whether you are preparing a pizza, grilling a steak or baking blueberry muffins, this kitchen has the utensils to assist. Has the usual, a gas range, oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, with the basic staples, coffee, teas, spices and oil. Use and enjoy the handmade pottery. Dining Table comfortably seats 8 people. Large Deck faces west with ample seating for morning breakfasts to evening dinners. Observe the sunrises’ momentary blush of colors that blanket the mountains. After grilling prepare for a night of stargazing. Scan the Milky Way. Spot Venus, the Big Dipper and more. Bedrooms Three of the four bedrooms have queen size beds. One bedroom is on the main floor. The bunk room has two extra long single beds. Extra blankets and pillows provided. Bathrooms There are three bathrooms; one downstairs one upstairs and the third is in the master suite. The main floor bathroom has a steam shower and the master bath has a jacuzzi tub. Toiletries provided in each bathroom. Workspace Friendly There are several semi to private work locations throughout the house. The kitchen counter, offers sunrise views, bird watching. The downstairs bedroom offers privacy with a desk and a chair. The master suite has a round table that seats four. It is a comfortable workspace or for evening socializing. Both decks have tables with comfortable seating shaded by sun umbrellas. Laundry Room Washer and dryer are located in the basement. There is a drying rack and a large utility sink. Steps and Stairs This is a three story house with two stairwells. One climbs to the upper level accessing three of the four bedrooms. The second set of stairs descends to the basement accessing the washer-dryer room. Smoking We are 420 friendly, but smoking of any kind is prohibited in the house. If you partake you will need to do it outside. The big deck has a sand bucket for disposal. Please be very cautious, as our fire danger is high. Other things to note This is not a party house. Only registered guests allowed to stay at the house. There is a 10 pm curfew for the deck. No animals allowed. Minimum age to rent is 25 years of age.
