The space In the heart of Sosua, no need to hire a car as you can walk everywhere. (If you do have a car, we have street parking by the gate with additional lighting.) Beautiful deep pool surrounded by sunbeds on the sun deck, shady spots with tables, your own balcony and a small patio. Humming birds hover around the aloe vera and the prickly pears. Self-cater with your fully equipped kitchen, or dine out in Sosua's many restaurants, or deliver-in. The kitchen has granite counters, gas cooker, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, espresso and filter coffee makers, kettle, toaster and blender, and plenty of storage space. King-size bed, approx. 24 inches high, oak closet, drawers, shelves. Desk and office chair, table and chairs. Air conditioning upstairs and down. Floor and ceiling fans provided. Mosquito netting on all windows and doors. Sound-reducing windows on streetside and balcony. Stay safe on the secure site, electronic key entry, night watchman, wall safe in apartment. Peaceful, relaxing, a little piece of heaven. We ask guests to keep quiet after 11 pm to allow others to sleep (there are plenty of places in Sosua to party late at night!). This is a no-smoking condo, including the balcony and patio area. No children under 8, no pets. Guest access Private access to the condo, with two locks. Private kitchen, living room, half-bath downstairs, and bedroom, balcony and bathroom upstairs. Electronic gate access to site. Other things to note Air conditioning is not included in the price. There is a meter in each apartment which measures only the a/c consumption. This is recharged at the current higher rate charged by the power company. As of September 2022 this is US 0.26 cents (14 pesos) per kwh. If you use only a few kwh we may reduce or waive the charge at our discretion. We try to charge only what the power costs us, where possible. For example, running 2 a/c's flat out 24/7 in a hot summer can cost $250 per month. That is why it is not included in the rent - it can vary from zero to $250. If/when electricity prices rise, this charge will also rise. We do not allow overnight guests. Only the people named in the booking may stay at the condos.
