Fisherman's cottage in Bristol has been a labor of love for us since we purchased it in October of 2022. We have spent every bit of our available free time renovating + decorating and have loved every minute! There is so much history not only in our historic town of Bristol, but also in this house which was occupied for the previous 20 years by local fishing legend "Mickey" who did much of the woodwork himself. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit our "Sherman House" is surely it. The space Completely renovated, unique one bedroom cottage facing the Kickemuit River. Original wood floors, brand new kitchen + appliances with quartz counter tops and custom cabinets. Sun-soaked home offers, large bedroom and separate work space both with views of the water. Brand new bathroom with large shower. Couch pulls out to queen bed with memory foam mattress. There is a separate Guest House Studio on the property which is completely separate, but in close proximity to the main house. This can be rented in conjunction with the main house if available. There will likely be 1-2 guests in the studio during your stay. Each property has separate outdoor areas and individual outdoor grills. Guest access Guests will have the entire home. There is a separate guest house/studio on the property that is rented separately. Each have their own outdoor area. This Cottage as ONE Off Street Parking Space (Shell Driveway) facing the two garage doors). The other space is for the Studio. There is plenty of off street parking! Other things to note Guests will have access to the water for kayaking/boating just steps from Sherman House. Public boat launch is located steps from house.
