The Nook - Castle Views! Cosy 1 Bed with Parking

Welome to The Nook! A cosy 1 bed Tiny Home situated in the heart of the Carisbrooke countryside. With uninterrupted views of Carisbrooke Castle, the surrounding valley and in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Nook is the perfect cosy hideaway in the countryside for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The space The Nook is a cosy compact spot in the heart of the Carisbrooke countryside. It's fully furnished and totally yours for the duration of your stay. We hope you enjoy staying at The Nook as much as we have enjoyed creating it. The main living area is open plan, with a comfy sofa, 43" TV, super Nintendo and board games. Perfect for a cosy night in! The kitchen area has everything you require, from cutlery to wine glasses: - Small Fridge Freezer - Cutlery - Crockery - Oven - Microwave (available on request) - Pots/Pans/Trays - Cooking Utensils - Salt & Pepper - Tea & Coffee The small bathroom has an electric shower, toilet and basin. Towels are provided (we even have a lovely towel rail to keep them warm!) Down a few steps and you'll be in the cosy bedroom where you will find a comfy king-size bed, wardrobe and high vaulted ceilings with Velux skylights, letting in that gorgeous country sunlight! We have Velux blinds fitted (and a velux extender pole to open and close these) we also have Perfect Fit blinds in the windows/patio doors to ensure you can block out the light when needed. Outside is a small patio, with a table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining! This space is open to the rest of our garden, and you may on occasion spot our (very friendly) daughter playing outside. The Nook is within walking distance from Newport town centre (20 mins or so!) or it's a short 5-minute drive. We are a few miles in any direction from dozens of beautiful beaches and a short walk up the lane will start you out on the Tennyson Trail which eventually takes you all the way to the Needles across beautiful hills and fields. Cyclists will have no end of choice in which way to go either by road or on mountain bikes, and we are a short drive up the road to the Isle of Wight Mountain Bike Centre (open seasonally!) There really is no end to what you can get up to on the Isle of Wight! Guest access Guests will have sole use of The Nook during their stay and the patio attached to the back. However, as you can see from photos, this isn't fenced off privately to the rest of our garden. Guests will also have their own space on the driveway during their stay. Other things to note Secure Bicycle storage can be provided with prior notification. Please get in contact via Airbnb. (The Sheds are covered by CCTV and there are anchor points secured into the concrete subbase). Please make sure you have your own insurance in place. Please Note, there are steps in and out of the Nook and steps down to the bedroom, therefore The Nook is, unfortunately, unsuitable for wheelchair users. Please also be advised that the bed takes up most of the floor space in the bedroom, whilst we think it's worth it as it's exceedingly comfortable, please consider this if you have mobility restrictions.
