The Apricottage is a Historic 2Br/2Ba Cottage w/ Hot Tub. Updated in 2022 w/artistic details, great furniture & loaded w/all the amenities needed for a well suited get away. This quaint beauty was built in 1922 & has a prime location in the Quapaw-Prospect Historic District of Downtown Hot Springs. You’ll love this neighborhood w/large trees, church bells & proximity to bathhouse row. So much to do in this historic town. Also we have a party barge you can rent on Lake Hamilton! The space Cozy & well decorated clean space w/Hot Tub, local art & carefully picked furniture. We have 2 gathering areas inside & the kitchen is open to the dining room. The gas fireplace in the dining room has 2 swivel chairs to cozy up in by the fire or spin around to be included in the dining conversations. Dining table seats 6. The Master has a reading nook, charging station, 2 robes, large cedar closet, smart TV (w/ uTube TV for local/cable channels & football games) & private bath. Guest bedroom is super cozy w/ filtered light, smart TV w/ uTube TV, 2 robes & small closet. The 2nd Bathroom is right outside of that room. We only use the best bedding & pillows & have 4 luggage holders (2 in each bedroom). We have a soft velvet “L” shaped sofa for overflow company & a chase lounge, blow up queen, toddler bed & pack- n- play w/ extra bedding in the den built in’s. The main den has a record player with an eclectic collection of records, a smart TV w/ uTube TV, & seating for 7+. We have a fully stocked kitchen w/plenty of counter space. The laundry room has a desk area for our artistic guests or your computer if you need to work. The Deck is Large & ground level w/dinning for 6, gas grill, outdoor couches for 5 & fire pit w/ 4 aderondac chairs & firewood ready to burn. There is a water feature in the garden for the warmer months & a fully wooden fenced yard for approved pets. Welcome snacks & drinks on the coffee bar are all yours. Also ask about our party barge available to rent on lake Hamilton to all experienced boat navigators over the age of 21 for an additional charge. Guest access The whole house, front yard & Fenced back yard is yours. Hot Tub is on the Deck. Check in is at 4pm & check out it @ 11am. You will be given check-in info the night before rental date. Don’t forget to ask about our Party Barge available to rent on Lake Hamilton. Our boat is on the closest Lake just a few minutes down the street off Central Avenue. It is available to all experienced boat navigators over the age of 21 for an additional charge. Other things to note We have so much water here!!!! We have 3 main lakes in Hot Springs & several boat rental companies w/ party barges & water toys to rent if ours has already been rented. Lake Hamilton is the lake right in town & it’s a blast! This lake is where all the restaurants & beautiful lake homes are located. It’s also the busiest. The Sunsets are amazing & the firework show on the Fourth of July is huge. Lake Ouachita is gigantic & has a more natural lake vibe w/crystal clear water where even freshwater jellyfish live. The beaches are mostly rocky and undisturbed. This lake is about 20 minutes down the road & a great place to spot some of the most beautiful yachts & gorgeous sail boats. No homes are on this lake. Our third lake is little more in town, It’s about a 10 minute drive down Malvern Road. This lake is named Lake Catherine. It’s a small, narrow type of lake with a lot of local fishing & cooler water that creates the thickest fog. Many people live on this lake too. We also have Lake Degray 45 mins away in Arkadelphia that is also a blast. If you’re into canoeing, tubing, rafting or kayaking, the nearest river is the Caddo river about 35 min away. It’s great for all ages & is a 4 to 6 hour float. Call to rent your boats at least a week ahead of time at Caddo Rental Camping & Canoe. There are several companies to book w/that are all great- we just always use this one. ***(Pack a huge lunch & plenty of drinks!!!) You can also go downtown and check out the hot water that’s steaming in Arlington Park or go down to one of the bath houses for a spa day. If you’re done with water just hike a block up the street away from downtown from the Apricottage & that’s the entrance to the hike up West Mountain. It’s a perfect work out for all ages with a beautiful view. As your reward for reaching to top you get the best backdrop for photos & place to chill with appetizers. If it’s already dark outside, you can drive up West Mountain at the same entrance for a great view of the city all lit up & this spot is perfect for sunsets. There are several over looks on west mountain.
