Wolcott Yale Bed and Breakfast
Two historic homes restored and connected. George Wolcott built the greek revival home in 1838 and founded the town that came to be known as Wolcottville. Noah Yale built the colonial home in 1760 in Connecticut and it was dismantled piece by piece and reconstructed in Wolcottville in 2018. Now the two are connected and form very spacious and comfortable accommodations. Only one group is booked at any time, and guests have access to the whole Yale house. The space There are three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. It has a "no threshold" shower. The other two bedrooms are upstairs - one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. The whole house is booked as a unit, so only one group is there at any time. Guest access Guests all have access to the whole Yale house, including a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning fireplace, and the kitchenette where breakfast is served. During your stay We live at one end of the house, the guest rooms are at the other end. The laundry room is on the guest side of the house, so host may be there at times. Other things to note We only book one party at a time, so you have your choice of rooms.
