Idyllic Torp on a sunny plot with forest and lake

Unique property in the middle of Värmland. Private plot, several buildings, courtyard, roads, private bathing area (10 minutes walk) – sunny and quiet location at the end of a dead end road. The small farm is perfect for the extended family or for two families, couples, etc. This is the place "to just be" for small and large - two or four-legged! Short distance to all amenities. The space This is a traditional and well-maintained place, suitably modernized to satisfy today's standard. Here you can enjoy nature, good food, play and fun in the yard, forest walks and water activities by a large lake. There is a short distance to football pitches, riding center, golf, swimming pool, shops and restaurants. Nice place for biking, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Town and shopping opportunities in charming small towns or "border trade" at large shopping centers if you wish. We are around 10 on the spot all the time, but we thrive best outside and preferably in nice weather. We eat most meals outside, either with barbecue or that we cook the food inside, and eat outside. Often when we are inside, someone is sitting in the kitchen playing board games or cards. Someone is in the living room with a book or TV. Some are sitting or lying outside. The youngsters are often on the storage shed and there is always someone who goes down to swim. Some sunbathe and some drive a trip to shop or something. The sun is on the plot all day and sets around 9 pm, and by the water it sets around 10:30 pm. We often have some kind of buffet where you don't necessarily sit around one table when we eat. The kitchen is large and has a large table, and 10 people can fit comfortably. We have chairs for 12. The cabin is located about 4 km from Åmotfors - here there is a grocery store. It is 20-25 min. to Arvika with pedestrian street, swimming pool, shops, restaurants etc. or Charlottenberg with border trade. 15 min. to Golf course. Ränken lake is located on the plot about 500 m on a gravel road or across the field, private bathing area with jetty, and common bathing raft with another cabin (we rent out). Here you can walk, cycle or drive if you wish. There is a football field about 2 km on a gravel road. Otherwise, there are permanent residents in houses and farms around so there is good infrastructure. Guest access You rent the whole place during your stay. It is undisturbed in relation to neighbors and it is experienced as private with a free view. Other things to note The house is an old timber house from the 1800s and there is good ventilation and a good indoor climate. It is cool in summer and warm in spring and autumn. The house has waterborne heating in the floor, fiber line/WIFI. It feels open and free - and you have many places to spread out or find your own space.
