You will be able to enjoy: The Entire Shivaya Property: Roam freely across our serene, forested grounds, and experience the peace and tranquility of the surrounding nature. The Glass House Restaurant: Savor delicious meals and stunning mountain views in our open, glass-walled restaurant—a perfect spot for dining or relaxing with a hot cup of tea. Outdoor Seating & Gardens: Relax in our outdoor seating areas, perfect for reading a book, birdwatching, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Other things to note Secluded Location: Shivaya is nestled in a serene forest, offering a peaceful retreat. The property is accessible via a 200-meter unpaved road. During heavy rainfall or snowfall, the road may become damp or inaccessible by car, so guests may need to walk the final stretch to reach the property. Please pack suitable footwear for such conditions. Winter Conditions: In the colder months, Mukteshwar experiences temperatures as low as -4°C to -8°C. Power cuts or low voltage may occur, and room heaters might not function optimally. Geysers may take up to 1.5 hours to heat water. If visiting during winter, please bring extra warm clothing and be prepared for snowfall, which may affect road conditions and services. Not Suitable for Toddlers or Seniors: Due to the challenging winter conditions, the property may not be ideal for toddlers under 5 or elderly guests, especially those with medical conditions. Noise & Music Policy: To maintain the peaceful ambiance of the property, playing music in outdoor areas such as balconies, lobbies, or common spaces is not permitted. Alcohol: Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, but consumption is only allowed inside your room. We do not permit alcohol consumption in outdoor spaces during daylight. In Case of Heavy Snowfall: In extreme weather, roads may close for several days, and water pipes may freeze. If this happens, we will provide hot water in buckets.
