Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The High Noon Cabin is the 1st of three cabins being built on our beautiful property next to the White River. Everything in this off-grid cabin was hand made using locally resourced lumber and supplies. Enjoy the beautiful scenery throughout the year - sunrise to sunset. Located just 8 miles from the town of Mountain View where you can take part in our many local festivals, listen to music, or just check out the beautiful Ozark Mountains. The space The High Noon is a cozy little cabin with loft area for sleeping as well as a full size sofa bed on main floor. The kitchenette is just the perfect size and the bathroom - although small - is perfectly designed with water conservation in mind. We offer an open fire pit at your cabin as well as a communal gathering area with seating. If you just want to enjoy peace and quiet, you can relax on your own deck and enjoy the view. You can go for a hike on the 25 acre property and check out local wild life and plants as well. We are 100% off-grid running on solar generated power and filtered rain water while still being able to offer all the comforts of home. Let us know if you would like to see how we do it and we’d be happy to show you around. We ask that you use all natural cleansers when possible to help maintain our septic systems longevity as well as the natural habitat. Your cabin will be furnished with homemade, all-natural products you are welcome to use as well. We do live on the property about 100 yards away. So while you will have your privacy, we are near by to provide anything you may need during your stay. If you love this cabin but are looking for a little bit bigger space, check out our other cabin onsite - the "Off-grid Sweet B Cabin". Guest access The entire cabin and its fire pit is yours alone. There is another cabin on the premises and our home site is 100 yards away. You are welcome to hike any of the 25 acre property. We certainly would be happy to give you a tour of the solar, rain water collection, and/or raised garden if desired as well. Other things to note Our off-grid supply will NOT support the charging of electric vehicles. In the event you need to leave pets in the cabin in your absence, we ask that they be in a kennel and not simply locked inside. We do have a "tie-out" outside for use if needed. No need to bring firewood, we have plenty to share. There is no river access from our property. The river is 200 ft down a cliff, but you can see it through the trees.
