RELAX at this freshly remodeled, centrally-located PRIVATE house overlooking 180 degree views of Sandy Beach in Rincon. You will have two levels within the otherwise empty house, a stylish perch to enjoy the crashing ocean sounds from sunrise to sunset. Watch surfers & whales while you size up the waves from the terrace, before you walk down to surf or boogie board. If you forget something or want to cool off, it’s just a short 2 block walk up the hill to grab lunch or relax on the large terrace The space Your private unit makes up the lower two levels of the house (including the pool deck/outdoor bathroom) and is surrounded by terraces on all four sides. The rental unit is on the main floor, and the owners unit above you remains empty while you are there. If you’d like a bigger space, the whole house is available as a separate listing to get to 5.5 bedrooms 4.5 baths. The oceanfront terrace is a very large, luxurious covered retreat from with sun or passing showers, holding a huge sectional & the main dining table. There are 3 thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, with a 4th room that has a set of bunk beds attached to a 3rd bedroom, with fresh white linens on the two king and one queen beds and twin bunks. We prefer large beds on vacation, and figured you’d feel the same way. We also tucked in a small bunk room to allow for some overflow sleeping space, with a bunk bed that features individual lights and plugs you can run from the bed. Inside your unit are 1.5 bathrooms, with the second full bath on the pool deck featuring an OUTDOOR shower. The saline pool overlooks the ocean, and boasts a Baja shelf and a gorgeous outdoor shower. Several iconic surf breaks are just a few blocks away, along with beachside restaurants and a sandy bottomed beach 1.5 blocks away that beckons you for some Long Beach walks for exercise or seaglass collecting. Guest access This unit includes parking for 3 cars in a gated locked driveway, and a completely separate & private first floor unit surrounded by private gated terraces. You do not have access to the upper two floors unless the whole house is rented by you. We are perched at the top of a steep hill that affords breathtaking views overlooking the pool that is used only by your group. Other things to note The second full bath is outside on the pool deck. Inside your unit you have 1.5 bathrooms. We installed a state of the art large solar system and water cistern to help stabilize the intermittent electricity grid and water in PR. If the power goes out we automatically go to solar (amazing) but there are some compromises such as going to one a/c to cool the whole unit (which works very well). If you do need the solar, you’ll still have all lights, plugs, fridge/freezer, water and tv, so you can always have cold beer & hot coffee! The solar is silent compared to the noisy/stinky generators most properties use, make sure to inquire before you book about your power and water back up at other rentals. The pool is cleaned every Friday and the gardener arrives every Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the weather. Neither will interfere with your time there, but note they are our trusted partners and this is how we keep the place nice and fresh for you. There is an outdoor shower off the side of the house so you can wash your feet in whenever you return from the beach. The dining table is located outside on the covered terrace with a view of the ocean, and seats 6. There is a poolside dining nook available as well.
