This modern luxury ground floor studio apartment is fully equipped and offers uninterrupted views of the ocean and the Rooiels rocky shore. Here you can unwind, watch the ocean and listen to the soothing sound of the waves rolling in against the rocks. The studio is within 100 metres of the Rooiels Nature Reserve where a short trail leads you to Otter Cove - a natural tidal pool amongst the rocks. The pristine, sandy main beach is also easily accessible via a 15min walk or 5min drive. The space The 55 sqm open plan space with large windows enables guests to enjoy ocean views from the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable sitting area with TV, and extra length queen size bed. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail and is separated from the open plan area by a vanity/desk space. French doors lead to a 15 sqm undercover patio with built in BBQ and slide away plantation shutters. Here you can dine or simply unwind, watching the constant motion of the ocean. The apartment has all the modern luxuries, including air conditioning, DSTV Premium, Uncapped Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine, dishwasher and dimmable lighting. A Gas Hob and Solar Panels with Batteries remove the inconvenience of Eskom load shedding. Guest access The studio apartment is on the ground floor of our house, totally private with separate entrance and own undercover patio. The apartment is not suitable for children and it is strictly for a maximum of 2 persons. Off Street Parking is right next to the entrance to the apartment. Other things to note We provide towels, hand soap, beach towels, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar and basic spices, but no fresh milk or fire wood for the BBQ. The Rooiels Village Shops stocks all the necessities. Baboons move freely within the village and are very much an integral part of Rooiels, to the extent that the Rooiels Village Shop and two Restaurants have baboon images as part of their logo! Baboons are not dangerous but are always looking for an opportunity to gain access to food. Whilst we have designed the apartment to ensure the baboons do not gain access, it is vital that guests ALWAYS lock the front entrance door and French doors leading from the patio, when the shutters are opened.
