The space This cozy, one level, modern cottage-style home is minutes to hiking and restaurants and less than 2 hours from NYC. A hot tub, fire pit, deck, and picnic table are just some of the amenities that await you. The best hiking and biking in Hudson Valley, Minnewaska, Mohonk, and The Gunks, are minutes away. The home is very kid-friendly! Babies and kids of all ages welcome. #kincottageaccord and our other property #kinhousekerhonkson are both pet-friendly. We provide many amenities for both kids and pets (we welcome most pets including cats)! Kin Cottage is smack in the middle of the best activities - farms with berry, apple, and pumpkin, picking, rock climbing, bike paths, seasonal beers, breweries, and wineries await you. Not to mention, the hundreds of hikes and paths that are all just minutes away. Kin Cottage is the perfect peaceful home base from which to easily visit the best Hudson Valley towns - New Paltz, Rosendale, High Falls, and Stone Ridge (10-20 mins), Saugerties, Kingston, and Woodstock (45 mins). There are so many places to visit that are a gorgeous and short 5-20 min drive. It’s rural but not remote (ie not scary!). — Looking to do lots of home cooking? Kin Cottage provides all the basics (oil, salt & pepper, etc) and cooking tools (great knives, pots, and pans) you might need. Plus there are tons of local markets with fresh, local, and organic produce, meat, and dairy products. Love a hot tub? Our outdoor hot tub fits 6 people. It's conveniently located steps from the back porch. Have pets / dogs you want to bring? We provide: a crate, 2 bowls, a couch cover, and pet towels. We allow up to 2 pets. Have babies, kids or teens? We have games and fun activities for a range of kids (and adults!). We also provide a pack and play, kids dinnerware, kids table, and height chair. Kin Cottage is the perfect family retreat. Worried you might forget things? Less than 10 minutes away is Emmanuel's Marketplace, a large grocery store and a Wal-Mart Super Center open daily 6am-11pm is 20 mins away. This is a purposeful choice. + Guests are responsible for taking out trash to our trash can that should be left at the curb at all times + Kin Cottage is in the woods, and there are bugs outside, and occasionally inside. + We provide starter items including toilet paper, soap, trash bags, detergent, and cleaning supplies, but guests are responsible for purchasing additional if needed. + Any firewood, food or drinks in our photos are just for show - they are not provided with your stay. + Have pets / dogs you want to bring? We provide: a crate, 2 bowls, a couch cover, and pet specific towels. We allow up to 2 pets. It is $50 per night.
