Guesthouse Bakstebua, welcome!

Cozy Guesthouse. Free parking. Sea access, 2 levels, close to Kragerø center. Bakstebua is a guesthouse that has been used as a bakery. It has private access and a small path down to the sea. Here you can use our private spot to swim and relax. On the top floor there is an apartment with a modern kitchen, shower and toilet. There is a full size bed, and a small loft where 2 children can sleep. On the ground floor, with separate access, there is a simple kitchen, bathroom and sofa-bed. The space The Bakstebua (bakers house) is a cozy guesthouse that was in use as a small bakery before. The Bakstebua has 2 floors with individual entrance. The top floor is a modern apartment / studio with a kitchen, living space, 2 beds and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. From the second floor you can climb up to the loft with beds for 2 children. A cozy space to sleep. Not suitable for small children that can not climb / descend the stairs safely. On the first floor is the old bakery oven, a living room with a sofa-bed and a basic kitchen. On the first floor is another separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Behind the Bakstebua is a privat terrace with a BBQ and outside furniture. Lovely afternoon / evening sun. In front of the house is a higher placed terrace that gives an excellent view over parts of Kragerø and parts of the Skjærgården. From the Bakstebua you can walk down to the Kalstadkilen, connected to the sea. Here is a privat pier you can use and we have 2 SUP boards guests can use. Next to our pier is a small public beach that is only used by a few neighbors. From the bakstebua you can walk to the forest, Berg Museum, Lovisenbergkollen and much much more. When you follow the coast its a 20 minute walk to Kragerø sentrum with a lot of activity in summer. Please contact us for more info. We have our own entrance, parking place and outside places but its very likely you will meet / see us during the day.
