Aletsch Arena / Fieschertal FeWo - 3.5 Zimmer

The vacation apartment is located in a sunny location at the top of the village of Fieschertal at the foot of the Finsteraarhorn and Jungfrau massif. From here you can start your journey directly into the beautiful mountains of the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps. In winter, a free ski bus takes you directly to the mountain railway station in Fiesch and from there you can reach the snow-safe Altesch Arena. In summer, you can hike right outside the front door. The space The property is located on the upper floor of a detached three-family house. In the hallway there is a cloakroom where you can put your shoes and hang up your jackets. From there, the large, bright kitchen-living room with dining area and sofa/TV corner is connected. Through another hallway, you have access to the ultra-modern bathroom with a rain shower and the two bedrooms. The bedrooms were renovated in 2022. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a large double bed. The other has two single beds. The wrap-around south-facing balcony with three entrances offers a sensational view of the surrounding mountain panorama and invites you to linger with cozy seating furniture. There is space to store sports equipment in the corridor in front of the entrance door. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, raclette and other kitchen utensils. A fondue set can be provided on request. Linens, towels and bath mats are provided. Parking is available in front of the house. Guest access Within the apartment on the upper floor of the house, all 3.5 rooms are available. The garden is free to share and is shared with the residents of the two lower apartments. Other things to note Shopping In the neighboring village of Fiesch there are a variety of small shops (butcher, bakery, sports shops with rental...) and a Coop as well as a Migros. Fieschertal and Fiesch are connected by hiking trails and a public bus. By car, it is a 3-minute drive. Gastronomy Located within walking distance in Fieschertal, Hotel Alpenblick offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. In Fiesch there are other restaurants and small, cozy bars. Winter sports From Fieschertal, you can reach the mountain railway station in Fiesch in 5 minutes by free ski bus or by car during the winter. The Aletsch Arena offers snow-sure and sunny winter sports fun on over 100 kilometers of slopes. Especially for children there is the ski lift and toboggan run Blätz in the valley. Goms offers 12 prepared cross-country ski trails and over 100 kilometers of slopes. Bellwald, located above the Fieschertal and accessible by car in 20 minutes, is a family ski resort with many offers and is highly recommended both in terms of price and its many sunny hours. Climbing 200 m from the house there is a challenging prepared climbing rock with several routes. Further up in the Fieschertal, below the castle hut, there is a climbing garden that can be reached in 50 - 70 minutes on foot. On the homepage of the castle hut, it is described as follows: "In the immediate vicinity around the hut, the rust-brown gneiss slabs offer varied, well-secured slab and wall climbing in all levels of difficulty. Children and beginners get their money's worth here as well as advanced and professional climbers." For friends of the via ferrata, there is an option below the Eggishorn in the Aletscharena. Hiking The house is located directly on a hiking route that branches off nearby for different requirements. From walks to family hikes with a dinosaur trail to day tours and multi-day hut hikes in high alpine locations, everything is possible. A breathtaking walk over the suspension bridge Fürgangen/Goms Bridge and the Binntal landscape park is already in front of you, known for its unique mineral deposits. Mountain biking The Aletsch Arena offers 100 km of mountain bike routes. In Bellwald there is a family-friendly mountain bike park. Paragliding In the Aletsch Arena you will find the best conditions for paragliding. There are flying schools and tandem flight opportunities for people from 4 years of age.
