One reason we chose to carry the alpaca theme throughout this charming home is to share the happiness alpacas bring with their cute, fluffy, quirky, and unique appearance. Alpacas also have strong roots here in Colorado which is home to several hundred farms across the state, making it one of the leading states in the Alpaca industry. So alpacas are representative of Colorado in this way, even if they aren’t our official state animal (that’s the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, by the way). Alpacas are herd animals, and we think that the need for connection with others makes them a bit like us humans. We hope that you agree, and that your stay here brings smiles to your faces that remain long after you depart. This charming home is perfectly located just outside of Downtown Colorado Springs, and just minutes away from many popular area attractions. The open concept layout features a spacious, updated kitchen, dining area, and living room filled with plenty of natural light and accented by the exposed beam ceiling. The backyard is fully fenced in to create your perfect oasis with luxurious hot tub with mountain views, patio with a gas grill and bistro dining set, and an extra-large hammock tucked in the shade. There is a gas firepit area with Adirondack chairs and a greenery wall along the fence, accented by a fun neon light that reads “Let’s always be pal-pacas,” (hint: this is the PERFECT spot for taking photos to commemorate your trip!) ✶ Effortless Parking and Entry at Alpaca Adobe ✶ The secluded and private green home comes with its own driveway that offers enough parking space for two vehicles. Moreover, there is plenty of free street parking available just a short distance away from the home. Upon arrival, you will find that both the front and back doors of the house are equipped with Yale keyless locks, and your personalized door code will be sent to you via Airbnb message on the day of your check-in. Once inside, you will notice a boot tray located directly ahead, providing a convenient spot to store your shoes. Additionally, coat hooks can be found on both sides of the dining room table, allowing you to effortlessly hang your coats and jackets. ✶ Comfortable Living Room with Entertainment and Alpaca Farm Live Stream ✶ The living room of this cozy home boasts two comfortable chairs and an ottoman, accompanied by a side table for your convenience. The windows feature both cordless blinds and light-filtering curtains, allowing you to control the amount of natural light and privacy you desire. There are coasters available on the TV stand, and a variety of books and board games such as Scrabble and Chess for your entertainment. A 40-inch TV with Roku is available for you to log in to your streaming accounts such as Hulu and Netflix. Additionally, an external antenna offers access to a selection of local channels. You may notice a live feed of a real alpaca farm playing on the TV upon your arrival, guaranteed to put a smile on your face! If the stables are empty, don't fret; leave it playing and catch a glimpse of the adorable creatures when they return. ✶Cozy Comfort and Alpaca Charm: The Bedroom at Alpaca Adobe✶ The bedroom in this cozy home boasts a comfortable queen-size bed with a brand new mattress, high-quality bedding, and fresh linens. Guests can also enjoy plenty of pillows and two cozy blankets/robes with adorable alpaca hoods, which can be found in the closet. For those looking to capture memories, an IG wall is available in the backyard for photo opportunities. The side tables feature cute gold alpaca lamps and charging stations with power outlets and USB ports, while a G00gle Nest Smart Speaker can be used for music, questions about the local area, or as a white noise machine. The windows are fitted with cordless blinds and curtains, and guests can adjust the amount of light filtering through by raising or lowering the top and bottom of the blinds. The bedroom closet is stocked with all the essentials, including a dresser, hangers, luggage rack, hamper, small fan, space heater, and two hooded alpaca blankets/robes. There's also an essential oil diffuser with complimentary oils provided, and the left side of the closet houses cleaning supplies such as a broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, and vacuum. Families with children are well catered for, with a range of items available in the closet, including a high chair, collapsible stroller, Pack n' Play with clean sheets and a baby blanket, and a basket containing a baby bath seat, portable changing pad, baby monitor set, and outlet covers. Guests can also take advantage of the built-in blinds on the back door, which can be easily opened, closed, and adjusted by sliding the control on the right side of the window up and down. ✶ Fresh and Fabulous: The Alpaca Adobe's Bathroom with Stackable Laundry and Rainfall Showerhead ✶ The Alpaca Adobe's bathroom is conveniently located just off the living room and comes equipped with a full-sized tub and shower with a rainfall showerhead, a vanity with sink and mirror, a toilet, toilet brush, and plunger, as well as stackable laundry machines for your convenience. Fresh towels, hand towels, washcloths, and make-up cloths are provided. Additionally, spa-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cotton swabs, cotton balls, and a hair dryer are all included, as well as a few extra rolls of toilet paper. The exhaust fan/light in the bathroom features a built-in heater, with the switch located by the vanity, while the switch for the light and fan can be found just outside the bathroom door. The hair dryer is conveniently stored in the cabinet under the vanity, and a fabric steamer is provided instead of an iron and ironing board. Guests can use the compact washer and dryer located in the bathroom, and a few complimentary laundry pods are provided under the bathroom sink. ✶ Outdoor Oasis - A Backyard Haven at the Alpaca Adobe ✶ Description: Step outside and enjoy the beautiful outdoor space at the Alpaca Adobe! Accessible through the back door from the bedroom or the gate on the left side of the home, the fully fenced backyard is perfect for your pets or little ones to play while you relax and take in the mountain views. You'll find plenty of amenities to enjoy, including a luxurious hot tub, a firepit circle with gas firepit and Adirondack chairs, a patio with a gas grill and bistro dining set, and even a "couples" hammock for some romantic relaxation. And if that's not enough, there's another hammock hung between two large pine trees in the front yard. You'll find everything you need, including grill tools and cabana towels for the hot tub. We also have a selection of yard games, including Bocce Ball, Giant Jenga, Yard Dice, Yard Farkle, and bean bags for the corn hole boards. For the perfect ambiance, we have string lights plugged into a smart timer next to the grill that will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at midnight. You can manually turn them on and off by pressing the button on the timer or use your voice and "ask G00gle" to turn them on or off. And don't forget about our "Let's always be pal-pacas" neon light, adding to the backyard's fun and unique atmosphere. We want you to have a memorable stay, so take advantage of everything the Alpaca Adobe's outdoor oasis has to offer! ✶ Kid-Approved: Family-Friendly Amenities ✶ We provide a range of children's items and amenities to make your little ones comfortable during your stay. In the front bedroom closet, you'll find a pack 'n play with linens, a stroller, highchair, baby bath, changing mat, baby monitor set, and outlet covers. Additionally, we have children's plates, bowls, cups, and silverware available in the kitchen. You'll also find a selection of board games located on the right-hand side of the TV stand, including "Bob Ross's Happy Accidents," "Colorado-opoly," and classic games like dominoes, playing cards, Uno, Skip Bo, chess, checkers, and more! You'll also find a variety of outdoor and yard games, including Bocce Ball, Giant Jenga, Yard Dice, Yard Farkle, and bean bags for the cornhole boards in the storage cabinet at the back of the laundry room. ✶ Keyless Entry and Lightning-Fast Wi-Fi - Effortless Access and Connectivity ✶ ✶ We welcome pets that qualify! ✶ For pet owners, we offer a pet-friendly listing for qualifying pets. Other things to note ✶Pets: For pet owners, we offer a pet-friendly listing for qualifying pets. Before booking, please message us to confirm whether your pet qualifies. Please note that any damage caused by pets will result in a loss of deposit, and there is an additional flat fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaner's time. The cost of the pet clean is collected via Airbnb. If your stay is longer than five days, we will collect an additional fee depending on the length of your stay once your reservation is confirmed. We welcome both you and your pets! ✶Additional fees: To ensure that we have enough time to prepare for future guests, we ask that you please message us ahead of time for pricing regarding guaranteed early check-ins or late check-outs. These additional fees are necessary to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request. ✶Trash: Please note that there are shared trash cans located in the yard along the road and guests from the neighboring Airbnb may need to cross the yard to access them. There is no other part of the property that is shared, and the home and fenced in back yard is exclusively for your use during your stay. To ensure that your stay is not disrupted, the guests from our neighboring Airbnb have been advised to be mindful of noise levels while crossing the yard. ✶Fire pit & grill: If you plan on using the fire pit or grill, please refer to the posted instructions and safety guidelines. You can find these in the house manual as well. After each use, please ensure that the grill and fire pit are completely turned off and the flame has died. Please do not use lighter fluid, wood, starter logs, or anything of that nature on the gas fire pit or gas grill, as they simply need to be turned on. ✶Hot tub: For safety and liability purposes, the hot tub is locked. To access it, you will need to scan a QR code to sign a liability waiver. Once it is signed, you will automatically be provided with the code to unlock the hot tub.
