I bought it back and renovated it in 2022 to capture the memories I had visiting as a kid. 🪵 The property gets its name from the original wide pine floors, which have since been refinished to get the original look and feel. 🏡 The house has an open floor plan that shows off the gorgeous wide-pine floors and wood trim details. 👩‍🍳 Kitchen is stocked with premium appliances, including espresso machine, coffee maker, and Vitamix, and has all the cooking accessories, plates, silverware, and glassware to host a dinner party. 🍷🥃🍺 Wine bar is stocked with wine, liquor, and beer, with cocktail accessories and mixers at the ready. Guests are welcome to drink what’s available for additional fees. 🍽️ Original dining table (made in nearby Sperryville) was also refinished and has a built-in bench that seats 8. Guests can also eat or drink at the butcher’s block breakfast bar with stools that seat 4. 🎶 Dining and living rooms are divided by a reclining leather chair with cocktail table, record player, speaker, and eclectic record collection. 📺 Living room boasts a gorgeous area rug, media console and AppleTV, cowboy leather couch, swivel chairs, and lamps and side tables for everyone. ☀️ Sliding glass doors open to the screened-in porch and open deck with gorgeous views of the property. The screen-in porch includes dining table and chairs, couch and rockers, and outdoor heater and fan. ⛰️ Open deck has a Weber grill and Adirondack chairs with side tables so guests can relax and take in the amazing views. 👑 Two bedrooms are down the hall on the first floor, each with king beds. Two additional bedrooms are downstairs—one king and one queen bed. 🛀 Master bath has a soaking tub while the second upstairs bedroom has an in-room vanity and is adjacent to the hall bath with skylight and glass shower. Downstairs bathroom has glass shower. All bathrooms have dual vanities. 🔥 Downstairs also has bunk beds, laundry room, and additional living room with couch, leather chairs, and temperature controlled Jotul gas stove. 💻 🛰️ Downstairs living room has an office area and books. Starlink internet speeds support Zoom calls without interruption. 🐶 Several rooms have large Orvis dog beds so your furry friends are comfortable off the furniture! ⚡️ 2 car attached garage has a Tesla car charger (plus adapter for other models) and additional refrigerator/freezer. 🥾 Close proximity to popular hikes—Old Rag, White Oak Canyon, etc.—and plenty of storage for gear.
