Centrally located at the confluence of the Moose and Kenai River and close to some of the best recreation Kenai Peninsula has to offer! Launch kayaks onsite & paddle up the Moose River (May-September). Wildlife sightings of Moose , Sandhill Cranes, Eagles, Swans, Snowshoe Hares, and many types of Ducks and Loon. Wake up to a new adventure every day! Kid friendly too! The space Newly renovated space with amenities. a modern rustic flare brings an outdoor feel to the inside. Plenty of covered space to relax outdoors as well as comfortable furnishing indoors and a gas firepit and covered porches outside to relax at the end of your adventures each day! Comfortable Memory Foam Beds for a peaceful slumber. Free use of kayaks offered with signed release forms. Life vests are also available for use. Wildlife viewing at its best! Kayaks only for use upstream of the property on the Moose River. Sleeping arrangements are 1 queen bed and 1 cabinet bed in the living room. Satellite and smart tv in unit. Guest access Forget Me Knot Cabin, yards surrounding cabin and picnic table and sandbox behind the cabin, gardens and grassy areas surrounding the cabin and the gazebo are set aside for guest use. New Large Pavilion overlooking the Moose River with firepit, seating and games! Steps and Kayak Launch also below the house. Other things to note Free use of kayaks are available for launch (May-September)and use at the property with a signed liability release. The Moose River is a slow moving river perfect for a easy paddle upriver for scenic and wildlife views. Moose river freezes over roughly November-April enabling snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during certain months of the winter. Additional cleaning fee will be assessed if the cabin is excessively soiled or for excessive linen usage.
