The little house overlooking the estuary
The little house overlooking the estuary
Description
Comfortable and charming little house overlooking the estuary. Set in a rural and picturesque village, not far from the sea and other sites of interests, such as La côte de granit rose and the medieval town of Tréguier to the east or the lively harbour of Paimpol and the famous Bréhat Island to the west. Beautiful beaches and walks along the coast and a rich cultural heritage to explore in the close area. The space Recently renovated, the house offers a warm and quirky atmosphere, furnished with authentic pieces, mostly second hand. The view on the estuary will reveal moving features depending on the tides (and the weather) that animate it. A sight never to get bored of that you will be able to enjoy fully from the little terrace in the summer. Upstairs, the atmosphere is quite romantic and peaceful with the bedroom opening on to the bathroom and its beautiful copper bath (mind you, the bath is non-functional, it is only ornemental and used as a pretty shower tray!) The room is cosy, with plenty of storage to feel settled in. Guest access Private access to the house and terrace. Other things to note The house is an old lady that needs extra special care and comes with its own quirkiness (but that's part of its charm!!): . The toilet is in a nook and out of sight behind the bathroom wall, but know that it is not locked in. It is a macerator that can only take toilet paper. Please do not flush anything else down the toilet bowl. . The bath is not really comfortable to have a proper bath. It is mainly used as a (fine) receptacle for the shower (which is just as well considering the actual shortage of water that we are experiencing everywhere!..). . Last, but not least, because the stone walls are so thick, you will probably have trouble reaching and opening the kitchen window (particularly if you're not that tall!!). You'll find a good stool close by to help you out with the process !
