Ex-Mining Camp on Opal Claim

Love camping but hate pitching a tent? Would you rather sit around a campfire than watch the TV? Like “roughing it” in the bush but still like a flushing toilet and a hot shower? Then this is the place for you. The space Built out of cypress pine and covered in corrugated iron, there is a main lounge room that has a concrete floor. Up a few steps and you will be in the dining/kitchen that is well appointed with a small electric fridge, gas stove and running hot and cold water. Off this room are two bedroom, the main with a wardrobe and a four-poster bed with netting over it. In the other room, a bunk bed with double below and single above. Both ceiling and walls have insulation so the place is relatively cool in summer and warmer in winter, but it still can get very cold in Lightning Ridge!
