Barn conversion with veranda and garden view

A beautiful barn conversion situated in the centre of the quaint village of Potterhanworth, just a short distance from the historic city of Lincoln. Relax in the open plan shabby chic living area, that opens through double arched doors onto the veranda and outdoor eating space. Lit by fairy lights you can enjoy views of the beautiful, established garden. Finish the evening in a super king size bed, or double brass bed looking up at vaulted ceilings with huge chandeliers and exposed beams. The space The barn sits within a quadrangle, but is entirely independent, and situated over two floors. The entrance is through a huge arch with your barn on the left hand side. The entrance door opens onto the open plan living/kitchen/indoor dining space with a large corner sofa, 40" smart TV and Alexa for some ambient music or local information. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a large walk in shower room with rainfall shower. The first bedroom has a large double brass bed and an additional day bed, making it an optional family room. The second bedroom has a huge super king size bed. Both rooms overlook the garden, making it quiet and peaceful for a good night's sleep. The veranda is the outdoor area, and has a large oak table that can seat up to 8 people for dining or games, and a rattan sofa, armchair and coffee table for relaxing or reading. Guest access The whole barn and veranda is yours to enjoy. The local pub 'The Chequers' is 2 minutes walk from the barn and does good food and a great Sunday roast. There is a really good children's play park in the village, about 10 mins walk away. The local Hanworth Park and country club is also about 10 minutes walk. There are many beautiful walks all around the village, details can be found in the visitors book. The historic city of Lincoln with it's stunning cathedral and castle is situated 7 miles away, and there are regular bus services and taxi firms if required. There are no shops within the village, but local Coops and Spa shops are situated close by, in the villages of Branston, Heighington and Metheringham, with numerous local food delivery services available. Other things to note Parking is on Middle street. It's a very quiet little street so never a problem finding a spot near to the property. If you have an electric car we do have a charging point under the large entrance arch which you are welcome to use for a small fee.
