Beautifully finished one bedroom barn conversion, part of Hillside Farm- a 19th Century hamstone barn. Carefully renovated with king size bed, generous walk in shower, open fire and well equiped kitchen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The space The cottage is a charming barn conversion providing spacious accomodation on the edge of the village of Bower Hinton. We have enjoyed updating the cottage, making it into a simple yet luxurious place to stay. We have taken our time and used quality raw materials to create a unique space which both reflects the buildings origins as an honest cart shed and provides a spacious and relaxed interior. We have combined old with new to make a friendly yet stylish space for you to enjoy. The sitting room with it's large hamstone fireplace and wood burning stove is perfect for cosy nights in. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, dishwasher and has direct access to the paved garden area should you wish to eat outside. The cottage is within walking distance of The Old Dairy Cafe (recommended for breakfast) and village pub. Dozens of footpaths, some straight from the door, provide walks both short and long with fantastic views of this charming undiscovered corner of South Somerset. Guest access Parking is in the lane next to the cottage. Your own gate leads from our drive to the cottage through your own private paved garden area with seating. Other things to note We live in the farmhouse adjoining the cottage and are on hand if you need anything to help you enjoy your stay.
