Trailhead Guesthaus w/ Sauna at Jordan River

Need to get away from it all? Come relax and unwind at our modern newly-built Westcoast cabin. Nestled in the rain forest and situated next to a tranquil creek, this 1500 sq ft luxury getaway sleeps 6 and is perfect for families. Our accommodation allows you to experience nature at its finest on our private acreage. Go for a surf in the morning, lay in the hammock for an afternoon siesta, then enjoy the stars at night as you stroll down the path to our cedar sauna. The space This 1500 sq ft luxury cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 large loft spaces. The main bedroom has views of the forest from it’s king sized bed. The spacious second bedroom has 2 double beds. The loft areas are mostly wide open with a large round yoga mat, a kids table, some pillows and a daybed with a view to the creek. There is also a large desk for those that want to sneak in some work or do some art! The lofts are the perfect place for reading or afternoon naps. The professional kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and is a joy to cook in. The beautiful live edge wood dining table is a centerpiece and perfect for hosting a big dinner or enjoying a cozy breakfast. The spa-like bathroom features a river stone and granite rain head shower with a bench. The wood stove in the living room gives the modern furniture a cozy feel. In-floor heating is featured throughout the cabin. The cedar barrel sauna is a guest favorite and a perfect way to end a westcoast day. Fairy lights to the creek illuminate the forest paths so you can experience nature even at night. Please note, in the heat of summer when there hasn't been much precipitation, the creek level may be low. That is why we have a beautiful outdoor rainforest shower for guests to still get that hold-cold sauna experience! The cabin has free but limited satellite WiFi, great for connecting and checking things out but please note it is not set up for excessive online streaming. There are many books and board games and a kids table for the little people. There are backyard games to enjoy in the sunny yard. High chair and playpen also available. Guest access Plenty of room for parking, including our covered and well-lit carport, in case you pull in at night in a rainstorm! Please let us know if there will be more than 2 cars in your group. There is plenty to do on the property, including a creek to enjoy and dip your toes into (or your whole body for that cold water experience!). There is a little trail with seats by the creek to sit, contemplate, daydream, and enjoy. The sauna experience is a must, especially with the outdoor cold shower or a creek dip for that "Scandinavian Experience". You can walk or bike to the trails at China Beach campground which is about 0.5km up the road. 3 minute drive to the surf at Jordan River and to the Cold Shoulder Cafe. Other things to note This cabin is our pride and joy. We built it with love and hope you enjoy it. We have tried to furnish it with families in mind. We are happy to host groups of friends also, but please note this is not a party house to cram a bunch of people into. We want to be respectful of our wonderful neighbours so please be mindful of the volume of your group; a loud party scenario would not make our neighbours very happy.
