Bright room in a peaceful St Albans location

Bright, modern, freshly refurbished room in a peaceful and safe location at a walking distance from a beautiful park with a lake. Guests are welcome to use the facilities the house offers, including kitchen, lounge and garden with due consideration to the privacy of the hosts. Free car parking on the premise. Initial pick-up/final drop-off by car from/to the train station can be arranged. The space The room on the second floor is bright with a double-bed*, desk, wardrobe, shelves and cupboard. The ground floor is a bright spacious open-plan. You can look over the garden from the large French windows. The patio is ideal for BBQ. Guest access Guests have access to all facilities in the house except the loft. It includes kitchen, living-room, garage, garden, washing machine, ground floor toilet and first-floor bathroom. The Summer, there is a table, chairs and rotisserie in the garden for guests to use. During your stay I should be available most of the time. I am Japanese and my husband is Swiss (French-speaking). Both of us have resided in the UK for over 30 years, in the US for eight years and in South Korea for seven years. So, we love to meet people from all over the world including, of course, from the UK. Thus, we prefer guests who share our desire to interact with us. Other things to note As airbnb host we offer two private rooms for rent. The first-floor bathroom is only shared by guests from the other room, not the hosts. Our location is not convenient for guests who need to commute to central London frequently. The train station is at a 35-40-minute walk. Ditto for the University of Hertfordshire that is at a 60-to-70-minute bus ride. We offer a complimentary arrival pick-up and departure drop off service to/from St Albans City Train station as well as a complimentary weekly ride to the supermarkets (Aldi, Sainsbury's, The Range, B&Q, Halford).
