Paris awaits you. The space You will find an open plan kitchen, to a living room with a dining table, two vintage leather armchairs and a sofa bed. For late check in between 20h00 and midnight, there is a fee of 25 euros. For a check in between midnight and 7h00, it’s 100 euros. If you lock yourself out, it’s 15 euros between 7h00 and 20h00, then 25 euros between 20h00 and midnight. Between midnight and 7h00, it’ll be 100 euros so… take care of your key, keep it on you, and you’ll be fine. Ah, and if you lose your key it’ll be…. 150 euros. These things are costly to reproduce. Do not remove the sheets from the beds when you leave, please do not wash the sheets or towels if you have stained them, we will take care of it. Please do not use bleach or peroxide on sheets and towels. We charge for sheets and towels stained with bleach or hydrogen peroxide (except white fabrics) because it makes them unrecoverable. And please, do not take with you or throw away towels or bedding. We count sheets, towels, hand towels and tea towels. You’d be surprised how common this is. Please wash your dishes before you go and throw garbage bags in the big bins at base of the staircase. And after all those numerous and probably for some of you strange requests (you'd be surprised!), we hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. Other things to note You are in the very heart of Paris. For restaurants, we recommend Petit Bao, rue Saint Denis, Quasti 205 rue Saint Martin, Villa Papillon and Aux 3 elephants both rue Tiquetonne, A great and famous pizza place is O’scia, rue Tiquetonne, or La Perla, another Italian restaurant, rue Montorgueil, famous pedestrian street with its wonderful specialty shops, Stohrer is a must, and supposedly was Queen Elizabeth’s favorite place in Paris to eat a marvelous chocolate eclair. And all its cafés around where you can watch people go by, like Le Compas for instance. For a more high end eating experience, try L’Escargot Montorgueil or Pierrot. Rue Rambuteau nearby is famous as well, Pierre Hermé has a store there, And Bachir is on that street too, one the best ice cream parlor in Paris. For supermarkets, you have Monoprix, G20, Franprix, Marche U, and for the organic ones, all the French brands are around, La vie Claire, Biocoop, Naturalia, La récolte, Causse. You can shop in Le Marais downstairs, with great clothes shops, Vintage shops, Antiques and Art galleries. The big Forum des Halles will give the Mall experience you won’t want to miss. The river Seine is very near and in the summer you can go, like locals do, for a walk or a picnic on the banks. And then you’ll discover your own favorite places, your own Paris, because the city is so diverse and fascinating, that is offers something for everyone. ENJOY. One of the highlight of this wonderful part of Paris are the prototypical of indoor shopping malls, the Galleries, which got their start in 1786 when the Duke of Orleans realized that there was money to be made by renting out his cloistered garden to small shops. A walking tour of the galleries can easily be accomplished in an hour or so, and is worthwhile. Start with La Gallerie Vivienne which is the best preserved of the galleries and whose décor has been maintained in authentic colors from the era. It's really the mosaic floor which is the star of the show. The shops are distinctly upscale, and all about pconspicuous consumption: a wine seller, a tea shop, and a dealer in antique books are among the highlights. The Passage Choiseul is a considerably more down-to-earth gallery. You can find more galleries throughout the arrondissement, including the Passage des Panoramas, the Passages des Princes, and, last but not least, the Passage du Grand-Cerf, to which this flat is attached. The Passage du Grand Cerf is considered a favorite by many, not as famous as the Gallerie Vivienne maybe but full of charm and character, with a very high conservatory ceiling and many great shops. A hidden gem! Registration Details 7510307543337
