There are several blocks of land, including a stream and century-old trees, where you can take pleasant eco-friendly walks. 30 meters from the house, on a plain, next to a stream, there is a special place to meditate or converse. It has 3 benches and a table to facilitate meetings. You can go fishing in the vicinity of the property. Other things to note History of “La Fonda”: Since its inception more than a century ago, La Fonda has been a place for raising and trading cattle and horses. La Fonda's strategic location on the old road used by the first settlers entering the country from the Gulf of Urabá to the city of Medellín made this building an important place for the exchange of gold for cattle blood and other elements needed to build the main church of Sopetrán, today the minor basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption. Later, La Fonda was a hacienda cattle were replaced by the cultivation of fruits typical of the region such as mangoes, papayas, tamarinds, hog plums, and carob trees. La Fonda was the first school in the area.
