This artists’ village inspired Claude Monet and remains a peaceful, authentic destination, ideal for hiking and Terra Aventura adventures. The space Welcome to our holiday home in the heart of the Limousin! To ensure a relaxing start to your stay, end-of-stay cleaning and household linen (bed sheets and towels) are included in the price. Your beds will be made up before your arrival, so you can start enjoying your holiday right away. The house features three bright bedrooms overlooking the garden, each with a comfortable double bed. Two bedrooms have king-size beds (180 x 200 cm) and the third has a double bed (140 x 200 cm). There is also a bathroom with a bathtub/shower and toilet, as well as a separate WC. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a small supply of basic essentials is usually available to help you settle in on arrival. The cosy living room includes a dining area, comfortable armchairs, a fireplace, and a TV with Chromecast, allowing you to stream Netflix, Canal+, YouTube, or other services from your own devices. From the windows, you can enjoy beautiful views over the Creuse Valley. Additional sleeping space is available thanks to the sofa bed located in the summer kitchen. This arrangement is particularly convenient for four guests who would each like their own sleeping area. The large veranda is one of our favourite spots in the house. Filled with natural light, it offers a relaxing space with books, board games, and tourist information about the region. Its large sliding glass doors make it enjoyable throughout the year. Outside, you will appreciate the enclosed garden, fruit trees, several seating areas, and terraces facing south and west. On hot summer days, a small plunge pool provides a refreshing place to cool off while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The house is equipped with high-speed fibre internet (500 Mbps), making it ideal for remote working or streaming through your personal subscriptions. A garage, cellar, and laundry area with a washing machine and dryer are available on request. Several outdoor dining sets and parasols are also provided so you can fully enjoy the garden and terraces. A peaceful and authentic retreat, perfect for relaxing, exploring the famous Painters’ Valley, hiking the surrounding trails, taking part in local Terra Aventura treasure hunts, or discovering the natural and cultural treasures of the region. Guest access You will have access to the entire property. The house is reached via a natural stone staircase with 8 steps. Guests are welcome to enjoy the bright veranda, the spacious garden, and the various outdoor seating and dining areas available throughout the property. The lower level includes the garage, boiler room, and cellar, as well as a summer kitchen equipped with a kitchenette, tables and chairs, and a sofa bed that can be used as additional sleeping or relaxation space.
