Spacious bedroom, historic home in central Sewanee

Our house is 150 years old, and our family has lived in it almost 30 years. This downstairs room has a king-sized bed and a floor mattress on request, so kids are welcome. The owners live in the house as well, but in another section, which is locked off from your section. Walk in the front door into the front hall and immediately turn left into your room. Your private bathroom is in the same hall. You will need to park on the street in front of the house. There is always an available spot. The space There is a king-sized bed and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The room has a microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle. While there isn't cable TV, we do have Netflix and PBS. We live walking distance to everything in Sewanee and right on the main street. We are a 15 minute walk from Morgan's Steep and the perimeter trail, a 5 minute walk to campus and a 3 minute walk to downtown. Guest access You will have complete privacy in your bedroom, bathroom, front porch, and front hall. My family lives in the back and upstairs of the house, and we come and go by the back door. Please don't worry about coming in late. It won't bother us at all. During your stay I know the area very well and have lived here a long time, so I'd be happy to tell you about places to go and things to do, or I can totally stay out of your way. Because we come and go by the back door, we may never run into one another unless we're both outside at the same time. I am always available to answer any questions though.
