Cozy, soothing cottage with fireplace by Nässjön in the village of Liden, about 5 km north of Älvdalen. The cottage is 100 meters from Nässjön with lake views. Here you can enjoy a morning swim, sandy beach or ice fishing in the winter! Swings, etc. for children are by the swimming area. At the cottage, a bubbling stream flows. Here you are in nature with fishing, berries and mushrooms close by. At the lake with trout, perch and pike, etc., there is a boathouse and a small boat with oars on request. The cottage is less than 20 km from the start of Tjej-, Kort-, Natt-, Cykel- and HalvVasan in Oxberg and 65 km to the starting point for Öppet Spår, StafettVasan, NattVasan Cykelvasan and Vasaloppet in Sälen. Rented to well-behaved, non-smoking guests all year round. As well as rental during KortVasan, TjejVasan, Öppet Spår, HalvVasan, UngdomsVasan, StafettVasan, NattVasan, Vasaloppet, CykelVasan, UltraVasan, VasaStafetten etc. Vasaloppet's buses to the start in Sälen stop in Älvdalen and drive back after the finish. From Älvdalen, you can drive the Vasaloppsvägen over Evertsberg but also north towards the start in Sälen and avoid the Vasaloppsvägen (you then go the same way as the Vasaloppet's running buses take). The sleeping places are divided into 2 smaller bedrooms, each with a bunk bed and wardrobe, a sofa bed in the large cottage that is 140 cm when made up and a sleeping loft with two double mattresses and a thick large bed mattress. The loft is the children's favorite and 2 people can easily sleep there. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a living room/large living room with fireplace, TV, dining area and sofa area, hall with wardrobe, kitchen and smaller bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove with oven, microwave, coffee and kettle, toaster, kitchen equipment, dining area and tableware for > 8 people. No dishwasher. Rent for a minimum of 3 nights. Bring your own firewood. Max 1 dog is welcome (no cats unfortunately!) Duvets and pillows are available. Guest brings own sheets (sheets and towels can be rented for SEK 120 per person per stay). Shoes used outside are not allowed in the cottage. Cleaning is not included. The tenant leaves the cottage and the property nicely cleaned and in order upon departure. Departure cleaning can be ordered well in advance of arrival for SEK 1,100. On the lake, there are usually ski trails and a skating rink, as well as the possibility of fishing for perch, roach, pike and trout. There is a good sledding hill outside the cabin for both big and small children. Down by the lake there is a swimming area with a sandy beach, jetty, swings, etc. and a barbecue hut for barbecuing. Next to the cottage, there is both forest and lovely meadowland. Parking area with the possibility of engine warmers. Ski trails are available (except on the lake) at Älvdalens ski center 5 km away or in Rännkölen, about 10 km away. It is 5 minutes by car to Älvdalens swimming pool, ice rink, shops, cinema, restaurants and tourist office, etc. The cottage is a good starting point for berry and mushroom picking, fishing in Rot-och Dalälven and in lakes in the surroundings, visits to Living Fäbodar, hiking, sights such as Njupeskär etc. To Sälen's ski slopes, it is a 60-minute drive.
