Guests staying at the Yealands site have access to the restaurant and bar across the road at South Lakeland Leisure Village and can use the pool and gym at extra cost. There is even a spa if you fancy a relaxing massage or beauty treatment during your stay. There is a fishing lake on site available for a small fee. The space In the lodge the main bedroom has a king sized bed and an en-suite toilet. The second bedroom has two slimline single beds which can be put together and made up into a double if requested. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a laundrette across the road on the main site. The outside decking is enclosed so perfect for dogs and toddlers. Other things to note There are good shops a short drive away in the town of Carnforth, including Aldi, Booths and Tesco and there is a pharmacy and medical centre. The visitor centre at the railway station is worth a visit as it was used in the film Brief Encounter and still has the original tea room.
