The space Nestled in tranquility, this cottage, our cherished home, is enveloped by lush greenery and gardens. Resting beside Union Creek, it offers scenic views of the surrounding wetlands. Wander to Cronin's Pub, Crooked River Winery, and Stoic Brewing, all within walking distance. This isn't a polished holiday home but a beloved, uniquely designed cottage with a quirky charm. Formerly a shed transformed into a home 15 years ago, it exudes character. Please note a caretaker's van is on-site, approximately 50m from the cottage. Available on select dates. Guest access The garden is for you to wander through with many secluded spots to sit and relax. You are welcome to harvest flowers, fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden and eggs from the chickens if you feel like cooking a simple fresh meal. Other things to note The wetlands make this an ideal place to bird-watch. You will often see the chicks of some species like the Purple Swamp Hen, Dusky Moorhen, Pacific Black Duck and Teal Ducks who breed on the property. Other visitors are Kookaburras, Magpies, Spoonbills, White Ibis, White-faced Heron, Little Egret, Little Pied Cormorant, Buff-banded Rail, Yellow-faced Honeyeater, Satin Bower birds, Doves, Finches, Silver-eyes, Fantails and occasionally the Nankeen Night Heron.
