This is the JASPER ROOM. It is a master room with is own private en-suite bathroom and a queen size bed. It is only 6 minutes from the airport and 12 minutes to downtown. There are 2 guest rooms, 2 bathrooms and a dining lounge with refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, dishware and cutlery. YOUR ROOM: Yours is the master bedroom with its own private en-suite bathroom. DINING LOUNGE: The dining lounge is shared with the other guest room. PARKING: The house is on a corner lot and there is usually plenty of free street parking available. LAUNDRY: The neighborhood laundromat is within walking distance, and for your convenience, they will wash and fold your laundry. I live in a separate part of the home and will have limited interaction with you but will always be available to answer questions or to assist you with anything. Would also love to meet you in person if our paths happen to cross. This is a safe, quiet community with well-kept residential homes. Located close to the airport and coveted for its cultural diversity. This neighborhood is home to one of Utah's finest golf courses and is approx. a 10 min. drive away from Ensign Peak trail head where the short hike up the trail will reward you with a stunning panoramic view of Salt Lake City. You can also enjoy walking, biking or jogging alongside the Jordan River which is less than a mile away. Places to eat within walking distance: Papa John's Pizza, Subway Sandwiches, McDonalds, Chinese and Mexican restaurants as well as a supermarket. THINGS TO DO IN SLC: The best way to get up-to-date info on what's happening in town is to go to this website: "visitsaltlake". Here you will find tons of information on things to do and places to eat. WALKING: The home is within walking distance of bus stops, supermarket, restaurants, library, banks, 2 parks and a 18-hole golf course. BY CAR: Less than 10 mins to/from airport; 3 mins to freeway; 12 mins to downtown; 25 mins to nearest ski area. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The bus runs every 30 mins and the train runs every 15 mins. It takes approx. 30 mins to get to downtown SLC via bus/train, and from there you can take another train to the slopes or in any direction you wish to go.
