The house is located in Pavone Canavese (TO) bordering Ivrea, in the heart of Canavese. It is on the ground floor, two rooms + bathroom: a living room-kitchen with a double sofa bed and armchair, a bedroom with a double bed (in total 4 beds), a bathroom equipped for people with disabilities. Free Wi-Fi. DAZN and INFINITY+ are available. Free parking space for cars/motorcycles in the enclosed courtyard in front of the house. Secure bike parking. Highway tollbooth 2.5 km away. Bus stop 4 minutes away. Pets are welcome The space The accommodation is on the ground floor of our Canavese house. Vaulted ceilings, it is traditionally furnished and consists of two rooms plus a bathroom. It overlooks the courtyard, where there is a free parking space available to guests. The courtyard is closed and is shared with two other families. It is a quiet place inhabited not only by humans but also by some cats. Paco, our dog, does not go out into the courtyard. Guest access Guests have the accommodation at their complete disposal and for exclusive use. They can also use the front courtyard to park their car, motorcycle, bicycle... for an outdoor aperitif, to do gymnastics in the sun (the house is south-facing) or other, respecting the other inhabitants. It is important to know that we are in the historic center and the access road to the house is quite narrow. Other things to note Throughout the year, there are various sports and recreational activities and historical-cultural events, such as the Ivrea Carnival with its famous Battle of the Oranges (February–March), the Savoy cabbage fair in Montalto Dora (November), the Horse Fair in San Savino (July), the Sant'Orso Fair in Aosta (January), the Canoe Championships at the Ivrea Canoe Stadium, and the many running races, the most prestigious of which is the Ivrea–Mombarone race (September), and more. Just a few minutes away is the Park of the 5 Lakes surrounded by nature (some are suitable for swimming), the cycle and pedestrian paths in the city and in the woods, and the Valchiusella with its trails, villages, and village festivals. Furthermore, Ivrea, an industrial city of the twentieth century, is a UNESCO site because it represents the manifesto of the policies of the Community Movement founded in 1947, inspired by the ideas of Adriano Olivetti. And the Via Francigena passes through here. You can arrange an excursion on the trails of Paraj Auta, the 5 Lakes and Mount Mombarone, on foot or by mountain bike, subject to checking the availability of a cycling tour guide.
