Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. All the modern comforts in a newly renovated apartment. Completely private but adjacent to owners. Views of Montalcino from the kitchen window. Kilometres of walking on your doorstep. Outside eating space. In the heart of the Tuscan countryside but only 12 mins drive to village (Buonconvento) with supermarkets, pharmacy, banks etc, and 35 mins from Siena, Montalcino and endless other famous Tuscan hill towns, villages and World Heritage locations The space The charm of the Tuscan house with all the creature comforts for a perfect stay. Ideal for a romantic getaway, a walking or cycling trip, a break from work or simply that weekend getaway to everyone’s ideal destination. This is a one bedroom apartment with an open plan lounge/kitchen area. The bedroom is large with a double bed and open plan wardrobe area. The bathroom is a good size and has an excellent shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction stovetop, toaster oven and everything you need to cook a basic meal. We leave you tea, coffee and sugar and other staples to make drinks and cook a meal. There is free Wi-Fi and a TV in the lounge. On the patio there is an additional table and chairs for outside dining complete with BBQ. Views of the village .. occasional walkers and horse riders passing by .. chill place to enjoy a teeny tiny Tuscan village. The entrance is completely private and there is a parking space in the drive alongside Guest access As avid travelers ourselves we planned this space to have everything you need for a perfect stay. We live right next door so we’re there if you need us. You have your own parking space and private entrance to the apartment. Please note that we are in the Tuscan countryside and the village is at the end of a part tarmac/part dirt road (4km). So if you prefer completely smooth roads you’re best bet is to book in a town somewhere. However take a look at photo two in the additional photos in this listing to see the start of our access road .. the beauty of the area, in our opinion, far outweighs any minor discomfort of travelling on a Tuscan dirt road. And you’re on holiday so it’s chill time! Other things to note We’re Bike Friendly: we have a washing machine in the apartment, a hose if you want to wash your bike outside after a day’s cycling, and a garage where you can store your bike safely. From here you can experience many well known bike routes including the Strade Bianche, the two Eroica races and the Tuscan Trail. Even the Tour d’Italia passes close by most years. If that’s not enough … we’re close to the Val d’Orcia where the roads are endlessly beautiful. If you love walking we have numerous trails right on our doorstep and the Pilgrim Route The Francigena passes close by .. you can access the stages from Siena to San Quirico, Montalcino, Pienza …. Please note that our township has added an occupancy tax from 1st April this year (2025). We have decided to include it in the existing price this year so there will be no extra charge. Please also note that there is no public transport to/from La Befa. As with most areas of Tuscany outside the big cities it’s necessary to have a car to get around.
