The Quiet Westside Retreat is a cozy 2 bedroom home close to downtown & within walking distance to a neighborhood market, restaurants, brew pub, Sweet Life Patisserie & shops. The cottage is tucked away off the street behind other houses, making it feel quiet & secluded. Brand New heat pump installed for efficient Cooling & Heating! All of our cleaning products, shampoo, laundry, etc. are environmentally friendly without added chemical fragrances. Recycling is also available on site! The space If you're looking for peace & quiet while staying close to downtown Eugene you've found the perfect spot! The Quiet Westside Retreat is a cozy, two bedroom, one bath house tucked behind other houses for a truly quiet & peaceful space. The living room has a comfy couch, an extra large Roku TV and dining table for 4 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking meals and brewing coffee, with a full sized washer and dryer right off the kitchen. The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser, and closet for plenty of storage and a large Roku TV. The other bedroom has a full sized/double bed, dresser and closet for storage, and a small writing desk. This house is great for anyone with mobility issues. It's a single level, slab built home, so no steps up to the front door. The front door is only a couple feet from where you park the car, and we have installed grab bars next to the toilet and the shower. The long driveway connects to a short alley, so even though you're pulling far off the road, you'll never need to back up down the long driveway. You can just turn left and exit! So many great restaurants are within walking distance! Just a few blocks away are: Evergreen Indian Cuisine, Laughing Planet (healthy bowls, burritos & more), Fisherman's Market (retail sale seafood & eat-in/to-go dining), Mama Mayra's Kitchen (Mexican), Falling Sky Deli and Brewery, Acorn Community Café, Tacovore (unique tacos & best margaritas around), Sweet Life Patisserie (award winning pastries), Ubon Thai Kitchen, Subo Sushi Burritos, New Frontier Market (small, locally owned groceries market), etc. Guest access Our guests will have the entire house to themselves. This is one half of a duplex, so please be respectful of the neighbors on the other side of the (kitchen) wall. Guest parking is directly in front of the front door. This is a private driveway. No one else will be driving through this alley. Other things to note Must be 25 or older to book No Pets For longer reservations mid-stay cleanings by one of our professional cleaning staff are available at an hourly rate.
