Meadowside Troutbeck Bridge, sleeps 5+1 on request

Meadowside is a beautiful detached cottage in Troutbeck Bridge which has been lovingly restored. The property is in a peaceful location where you can sit, relax and take in the beautiful views or enjoy the garden wildlife including occasional visits from deer, rabbits and woodpecker. Meadowside offers many door step walks. Brockhole National Trust and Windermere centre are also in easy walking distance for shops, cafe's, wine bars and restaurants. Pub, spa and shop are a short stroll away. The space This fabulous recently modernised centrally located 1920's detached cottage is home from home with lots of original features and ground floor living. Including an open fire, original wood floors, oak dining table and kitchen surfaces alongside welcoming plush grey sofas and high quality accessories. Meadowside sleeps five/six guests but 7 people on request in three bedrooms and snug. For 7th bed an additional charge applies (see below). There is complimentary health spa access at Choices, Windermere for the duration of your stay for 6 guests and additional day passes can be purchased if required. The health spa is a short stroll from Meadowside. The cottage hosts three bedrooms; a super-king-size, a king-size and a single with a trundle (floor bed), along with a snug with open fire, bathroom, cloakroom, and the benefit of a large private garden with ample parking. Small double sofa bed in the snug can be made for 1 additional guest on request sleeping a total of 7 - an extra charge of £20 per night applies for use of the extra bed. Meadowside offers a shed for bike storage in the sunken garden. Meadowside is centrally situated just 1 mile from Windermere centre and 3 miles from Ambleside yet in a peaceful and quiet area. Local walks can be accessed from the doorstep as can the bus which travels regularly to the southern lake district villages and towns. There is a garage, convenience shop and pub all located within 200 metres/walking distance of the property. We have been welcoming guests to Meadowside since early 2021 when we lovingly restored the beautiful 1920's cottage. We are keen to make everyone's stay enjoyable and feel at home in the picturesque lake district. We strive to continue to enhance Meadowside and have done recently with the addition of a new terrace and glass balustrade in the garden where you can sit and watch the wildlife in the sunken garden. The ground is uneven crazy paving. Bike storage in shed in sunken garden is at own risk - care to be taken when accessing sunken garden. There are several high walls to the sunken meadow and garden - children should be supervised. Owners take no responsibility and will not reimburse for any closure or issues relating to the complimentary Choices Health Centre and Spa. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property and grounds. Choices health spa access is a separate business with complimentary access for 6 guests. Additional entries can be purchased at guests expense. Opening times and closures are not part of Meadowside booking responsibilities.
