Casa Giulia, the former home of the current owners' grandmother, is located in a carefully renovated old Ticino house. A very sunny and spacious house that offers guests a pleasant and intimate stay, also for family holidays. The rooms allow for convivial moments, but also plenty of privacy for each family member. The village allows easy access to the nearest mountains, where you can enjoy marvellous landscapes of great charm. The space The approx. 122 sqm flat is on two floors and has a lift to access it. It is spacious and bright, suitable for families and groups of friends. On the fourth floor is a large double bedroom with bathroom and toilet, next to which is a small room with a single bed, ideal for children. On the fifth floor there is a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, two bedrooms and a loft where you can relax without being disturbed. On request, it is possible to have a baby cot. Guest access The flat is for the exclusive use of guests. Other things to note The kitchen has minimal but comfortable equipment: glass-ceramic hotplates, a fridge combined with a freezer compartment and a dishwasher. A Nespresso coffee machine and tea kettle are also available. Wine glasses, tea coffee cups, crockery, dishes, pots and pans and kitchen cleaning products are available. Next to the kitchen is the spacious dining area with a table for 6 and a fireplace. The Blenio Valley, also known as the Sun Valley, is first and foremost a natural and scenic jewel. Its area, which stretches from Biasca to Olivone, offers mountain and hiking enthusiasts 500 kilometres of hiking trails and numerous bike tours. It is ideal for families, but also for sports enthusiasts who want to cycle, hike, boulder or canoe on the nearby River Ticino. Cresciano and Chironico, a 10-minute drive from Serravalle, are visited by thousands of boulderers from all over Switzerland, neighbouring Italy and Europe every year. Along the valley axis that leads from Biasca via Acquarossa to Olivone, you will find well-preserved villages and art-historical treasures. The pretty holiday resort of Olivone, situated at the foot of the pyramid-shaped Monte Sosto (2,221 m), is the ideal starting point for excursions and hikes into the unspoilt Val di Campo, to the Luzzone reservoir and into the impressive desert of the Greina plateau. Continuing in the direction of Passo del Lucomagno, you reach the "UomoNatura" eco-centre in Acquacalda with guest house and restaurant. On request, the hosts organise guided hikes to historical sites and landscapes in the main local languages or excursions for children and horse lovers.
