Central A/C and heat throughout. Guests will have access to the entire duplex. Honesdale is a quaint town tucked away in the Pocono Mountains about 2 1/2 hours from NYC. Museums and architecture preserve pieces of Honesdale’s history while new shops, eateries, breweries and boutiques add a modern twist along Main Street. Honesdale has outdoor activities in both the summer and winter months, making this a year round destination - from skiing in the Pocono mountains to kayaking down the Lackawaxen and Delaware Rivers. Tanner Falls, The Stourbridge Line, The Dorflinger Glass Museum, Prompton State Park, Delaware River White water rafting, Sky Top Lodge, Big Bear Ski Resort, The Lodge at Woodloch, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational Area, and Raymondskill Falls are all nearby. The Irving Cliff Trail is 2 blocks away. Many artisan shops, antique stores, cafes and restaurants have popped up along Main Street. Enjoying the nearby towns of Hawley PA and Narrowsburg NY is also possible just 15-20 minutes away. Guests can travel to Honesdale from NYC via the ShortLine Hudson Bus. A car is likely preferred for getting around outside of town and visiting local attractions. Main Street Honesdale, however, is just three blocks away. Depending on the time of year, the first floor 2 bedroom apartment may be occupied as well, but both apartments of the house have separate, private entrances.
