Take in the view and relax in the magnesium plunge pool, indulge in the luxuries of the local winery, restaurants, and cafes, cosy up next to your very own fireplace or take a scenic trek up to “Rocky Hole”, part of the famous D'Aguilar National Park. Sleeps 4 people, ideal for couples, for families or groups of friends. The space Yajambee Farm Stay is a warm, friendly, and inviting space. It has been thoughtfully restored and we are absolutely delighted to share the space with our guests. Featuring 2 separate queen-sized bedrooms, one with ensuite, this farm stay accommodates 4 guests very comfortably. IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION If you have booked for 2 guests, we expect only 2 guests to stay. If you have more than 2 guests stay, you will be asked/approached to pay the full house rate. The price for 2 people is strictly based on the 2 guests sharing a room. The home itself was originally built in 1994 by the owners of the day and has been recently renovated with short term stays being the design driver. The stay will bring you the luxuries of the “big smoke” with a splash of country charm and leave you with memories of an enjoyable time away. The interior is flooded with natural light and offers views from every living space, even from your very own warm cosy bed. It is our hope that you will never want to leave……. Surrounded by national parks, endless views and fresh clean mountain air it transports you into a sense of deep relaxation and restoration. Please also note that the property is rural and it is an operational cattle farm so it is essential and your responsibility that guests including children are aware of livestock, creeks, dams, and watering holes on and beyond the property boundaries. HISTORY OF THE FARM Yajambee Farms has a deep and long history, in the early 1870’s the property was settled by the White Family as part of what was a thriving timber and then dairy farming community. Over the years parts of the property were “sold off” as development and “progress” played its part in the towns evolution to its current form. Parts of the old farming practices remain with the current hay shed being built on the foundations of what was then the small farm dairy. You can still see the cast in rods where the old single cylinder diesel pump sat and ran the milking machine. The current owners purchased part of the farm in 2016 and a few years later were luckily given the opportunity to purchase the adjoining farm putting most of the Whites property back together as a whole. It is currently run as a boutique Black Angus Cattle Stud. Guest access Yajambee Farm Stay is on a working cattle farm. We are fully fenced for the safety of our animals and for your safety too. Guests can access the Farm Stay directly off the main road, Mount Mee Road, and we have plenty of parking right next to the house. Although the farm is very large, guest access is restricted primarily to the farm stay yard and closely adjoining paddocks due to roaming livestock and general farming practices. Going for a walk is welcome but guests must communicate with the owners if they wish to explore other areas of the farm beyond the farm stay boundary. Other things to note Yajambee Farm Stay is beautifully appointed with all the amenities required for a luxury farm stay. Thoughtfully sourced artwork, furniture and quality linen. We offer a fully equipped kitchen with Smeg appliances and plenty of cookware, glassware, platters and we have also included all the basics: - pepper, salt, olive oil, and tea and coffee are included. Laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and plenty of dishwasher tabs are included. We expect that no glassware enters the pool area at any time, plastic alternatives are provided. And, we also expect that you respect the property leaving everything the way you find it.
