Water’s Edge is a simple, traditionally-furnished beachside complex comprising two individual ground-floor apartments (Jerasimo and Amalia). Step out of your holiday home and onto your private beachside veranda to watch the sun rise over Kefalonia’s majestic mountains, relax in the shade of your garden, spend your days on the sheltered, child-friendly Lepeda beach, or stroll to Lixouri town for your morning coffee. The space You approach this special home on foot, leaving the quiet road and walking the last 70m along the sandy beach. It is one of a handful of small properties in this unique location where the residents park at the edge of the beach and stroll along the sand to reach their front door. Perfect for a family with young children, or a group of friends, this complex provides a perfect base. Step out of your house and refresh yourself with a dip in the sea or watch the children splashing in the natural swimming pool between the rocks at the edge of the beach. Enjoy an ouzo and mezze at the taverna at the end of the beach, or choose a traditional souvlaki at the grill-house a two-minute walk away. And if you prefer to cook for yourself, you’re welcome to pick vegetables for your salad from the garden at the rear of the property. The sleeping arrangements are made up of four rooms, each with the capacity for 2 people. Two of the bedrooms have king-sized beds which can be separated to a pair of singles – so we can accommodate a variety of arrangements – just let us know in advance! Please note, due to the approach to the house being on the sand, you may wish to pack luggage that doesn’t rely on wheels. A perfect spot for a simple, traditional beach holiday.
