Beautiful, boutique apartment!

Sleeps 4: 1 x double bedroom plus double sofa bed in living room. This bijou holiday let is an artist’s own home. Built in 1891 and decorated in vintage maximalist style it is a real treat in the heart of Burntisland, right next to the lovely high street, just two minutes walk from the station, and just four minutes walk from the gorgeous beach! Burntisland is also just 35 minutes on the train to Edinburgh so ideal for those who want a quieter stay yet still want to visit the capital. The space This property has one bedroom with a double bed, plus a comfy double sofa bed in the living room, so can sleep a maximum of 4 people. Bed linen and towels are all provided, as is kitchenware in the small but fully equipped kitchen (open plan to the living room). Burntisland a lovely town to stay in with a sandy beach, great independent shops and cafes on the high street, and has a funfair in the park throughout the summer. It is also just 35 minutes on the train to Edinburgh. *Please note that this is a private home that is let just while the owner is away. Her cat will not be here during your stay but please note that a short-haired (non moulting) cat does usually live here if you have severe allergies. Please also note that the owner’s personal possessions such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, and food stuffs, including potential allergens such as nuts, may be in the house. However every endeavour is made to make sure that the kitchen is always clean and that there will be storage space left available for your own food, clothes etc. PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT On Mon-Fri between 9am-5pm you can only park on my street for a maximum of two hours as it is restricted to resident permit holders (or disabled badge holders) for longer parking at these times. However parking IS allowed on the street on Saturdays and Sundays and just 10 meters around the corner is Somerville Street which always has free parking, plus has a free public car park both half way along it and a huge free car park at the end by the park! The house is also ideally placed for the train link to Edinburgh (and elsewhere)! Trains to Edinburgh run approximately every half an hour during the day and evening and take 30-35 minutes to get there (check online for daily times). The number 7 Kirkcaldy-Dunfermline bus is also a useful bus as it passes through Burntisland in both directions.
