Private double room with key lock. Tranquil, clean and safe. Bright & airy. Hosts are a young working couple with plenty of room to share in their 3 bedroom house. We are well travelled & have 8+years experience house sharing. You have access to all amenities and homewares except master bedroom and a few specific products in kitchen and bathroom. Ask us for local knowledge anytime. Birds chirping all around. Minutes walk to the lake foreshore with walking/cycling track. Plenty of st parking. The space Quiet and spacious suburban street. People love to stay for a relaxing getaway from the city and to attend events nearby. Well situated for access to all the Illawarra has to offer. The outside, covered and lit up lounge area has views of Lake Illawarra, the large salt water lake which defines much of the region. Fishing and water sports are popular around here and the walking/cycling track that circumnavigates the lake takes you to playgrounds, bbq and picnic spots, plenty of dog friendly spaces and provides constantly stunning views... Walk south to meet resident horses and see if you can spot local tawnie frog mouths, black cockatoos, various other birds, rabbits and even echidnas! Walk, cycle, drive or take the bus to get around. Grocer, butcher, bakery and take away food shop a few 100m away. Another grocer, liquor shop, newsagent about 1km. Max 5 min drive to the main shop area with coles, woolies and Aldi, cafes, Restaurants, pharmacies, etc. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the whole property except the locked master bedroom and garage. This includes your bedroom with queen bed, space for luggage, some storage with extra bedding and towels, lamp, ceiling fan and window with blockout thermal curtain. Newly carpeted and painted, and all as-new furniture. New king size down douna is so warm. Various pillow type options because everyone's different. During your stay We are out most days from about 7 am to 7 pm. Tell me your preferences around privacy and interaction. There's a good chance we can go out for dinner and come back just for showers and bed. Or we could share dinner or a drink. Arrangements can be made. Longer and recurrent stays welcome. Other things to note Please enjoy and respect our home. Tidy up after yourself in the shared areas. Please note you are liable for damage beyond regular wear and tear.
