Private king bedded room in Host’s home

This is a double room with king bed and own shower room, which is not en-suite. We are a 10 minute walk to the local train station (Kidbrooke) providing easy access to the City and Central London. We are also a 20-minute bus ride from the 02 Arena. Once at the 02 you have access to the Jubilee Line for Stratford and the Olympic Park, Canary Wharf and Central London. The space The home provides a relaxed atmosphere to explore the local area and beyond. As it is my home, we ask for a shoes off policy indoors and to be mindful of quiet times from 11pm to 7am. Guests are reminded that only those registered on the booking are allowed inside the home. You may from time to time meet with friends or family close-by however guests are reminded that only those registered on the booking are permitted inside the host’s home. We kindly ask that you respect this request for our privacy. Guest access Guests have access to the open plan kitchen and dining room, lounge, utility room with the addition of your own shower room on the ground floor. There is a garden which can be used when weather permits. There is ample on-street parking, however, there is also a parking space which is available on request. Guests may help themselves to tea and coffee throughout their stay. Cereals, bread and milk is available for breakfast. Those with special dietary requirements should provide their own breakfast items. If cookIng an evening meal, guests are reminded that the space is open plan and is the heart of our home so we ask that you keep things clean and to tidy as you go. We want guests to enjoy this AirBNB experience and their time in London. We envisage guests being more out of the home during the day than indoors. For this reason we do not accept bookings where guests will be working or studying from home. Check in can be flexible with advance notice please otherwise normally from 3pm. Guest should check in before 9pm please. During your stay We meet most guests when they arrive and are generally on hand to answer questions or give ideas. Setting up a telephone group with guests is beneficial to easily answer questions they may have. Other things to note AIRPORTS The closest airport is London City airport which is only 30 minutes on public transport. Gatwick airport is around 30 minutes from London Bridge or Victoria with direct trains from either station to Kidbrooke. Luton airport is around 40 minutes from Kings Cross. From there take the tube (10 minutes) to London Bridge. Stansted and Southend are 45 minutes by train to Liverpool Street from where you can take the tube or walk (10 minutes) to Cannon Street or London Bridge for direct trains to Kidbrooke. Heathrow is 45 minutes by tube to Central London and then take the train to Kidbrooke from any of Victoria, Cannon St, Waterloo or London Bridge. The Elizabeth Line now operates from all Heathrow terminals. You can take this line to Bond Street, then change for the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich, then the 132 bus to Wendover Road (bus destination is Bexleyheath). OCCUPANCY The room is suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. Unfortunately we do not provide baby cots as the room is not large enough to accommodate this request.
