Balcones del Atlantico is one of the most Luxurious Resorts of the Area. Our house sits only 150 feet away from the ocean, only separated by a small local road. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs, air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans: master bedroom with king size bed, 2nd bedroom with two queen size beds, and the 3rd with two full size beds and two bunk beds on top. Each bedroom has a full bathroom. Large living room area, half a bathroom, dining room for 12, kitchen with Viking Professional appliances, a spectacular outdoor terrace with an integrated living room and another 12 person dining table. Other things to note Catey International Airport (AZS) is the closest airport in the Samana Peninsula. It is located about 30 minutes from the resort. Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) Santo Domingo is 2 hours away from the resort Balcones del Atlantico. Best way is to arrange transportation in advanced from Airport to Las Terrenas. During the ride from the airport you will enjoy the most breathtaking sceneries in the Caribbean. You will through Los Haitises National Park, and climb the northern Samaná mountain range. Here you will be able to have a view of Samaná Bay, the largest humpback whale breeding ground in the world.
